● Highlights: Tsuguya includes 2 meals per night. Dinner is A5-grade Hida beef and plenty of local vegetables grilled over charcoal. (Hida beef: 200g per person, can be added for an extra fee) Includes miso soup and rice. Breakfast includes a handmade egg sandwich, coffee, salad and yoghurt. You can also use the BBQ area. From July, you can enjoy the newly built private cypress bath in the separate building. You can see a sky full of stars at night and fireflies in early summer. If you stretch your legs, you can reach the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go in about 3 hours and the popular Takayama in about 2 hours. You can bring in alcohol, so why not make plans for the next day after dinner while looking at the garden and the night sky? ● Access: By train: From JR Nagoya Station, take the Tokaido Main Line and get off at Hozumi Station. Take the Gifu Bus and get off at Kurono Hachiman stop, then walk for 10 minutes. There are also buses from JR Gifu and Ogaki stations. If you let us know your arrival time at JR Hozumi Station in advance, we can also pick you up and drop you off. ● House rules: This is a guest house, so you cannot make noise in the middle of the night. There are also restrictions on rubbish separation, dinner, breakfast, and shower times. ● Amenities: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap ● Seasonal information: You can bake mochi for dinner. You can also make baked sweet potatoes in the fireplace on the terrace. The space There is one guest room. Up to 4 people can stay in the Japanese-style room on the first floor or the Western-style room on the second floor. The Japanese-style room is also simple, but it can be locked. Also, it is not shared with other guests. Each room can be partitioned by sliding doors, so they can be used as two rooms. There is no bed on the ground floor. There are futons. Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility. You can use the kitchen, but please let the host know in advance. There is no bath, only a shower room, but there is a hot spring facility nearby. There are also goats and chickens in the backyard. You can feed them and interact with them. Depending on the season, you can also experience harvesting vegetables grown in the field next door. It is a very quiet place, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Guest access Guest access includes common spaces such as guest rooms, shower rooms, toilets, kitchens, dining rooms, etc. The host also lives in the facility, so you cannot enter the host's private room. During your stay I will meet and interact with guests directly at check-in, dinner, and breakfast. Enjoy your private time at other times.
