Théveny, the Sunset

Le Couchant is part of Théveny, a renovated farm that hosts 3 homes in addition to that of the owner, in the heart of an estate of 14 ha of woods and meadows. Isolated, without a neighborhood, it offers conditions of absolute calm, in the silence of the forest. Shared rooms are accessible. Use is limited to residents only. To receive additional guests, please let us know, an additional price will be requested. The accommodation is in Périgord, in St-Astier, 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux. The space Accommodation in Summerset: 53m² + 2 mezzanines of 9 and 10m², 72m² in total. 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with 4 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) + 4 on the mezzanine (4 single beds can be assembled into 2 double beds), or 8 beds maximum. This home is accessible to people with disabilities (pmr). It includes living room/kitchen, shower room, toilet, in addition to bedrooms, and a terrace with wood shed. Each home is heated by a wood burning stove (with electrical supplements if needed). The doors and windows all have wooden shutters (except for an atypical small window on the mezzanine). The materials are raw, like a workshop transformed into a dwelling: concrete, plywood, metal, stone, coating, wood of antique furniture. It's a whole world of materials, born from the history of the place, that creates a contemporary atmosphere in an old barn, a particular world. In addition to the listing, residents have access to common spaces (themed spaces in the description). This is Rue des Livres, a large library with 1000 books and comics, the Shared Great Room with kitchen, large dining tables and living room. This 7m ceiling room is available. Finally, an activity room, for yoga and all soft body disciplines, is also free to use.
