Modern Lay house in the Volcanic Eifel with garden

Our charming cottage is located in Strohn - in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, with its many volcanic lakes. It is surrounded by a small slate mountain overlooking meadows and fields. A hike through the Strohner Switzerland, a visit to the Volcano Museum or the direct connection to the Maare-Mosel cycle path offer natural experiences right outside the front door. In summer, the Pulvermaar (2 km) invites you to swim. In winter, the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and a relaxed time out. The space Since we are closely rooted in the Volcanic Eifel, we have freshly renovated and newly furnished this idyllic vacation home for ourselves and for our guests. The bright decor, combined with modern design, create a cozy atmosphere to feel good. Enjoy the spacious living/dining area and the light-flooded rooms. Find your favorite spot in front of the fireplace, watch a movie on the cozy couch or relax with the wonderful views of the green surroundings. Each room has a double bed, comfortable mattresses as well as shelves, dresser or a wardrobe. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi and a large TV in the living room. Linens and towels are included. The garden is completely enclosed and includes a large lawn with some trees as well as a sunny terrace with garden furniture, a parasol and sun loungers. Bicycles can be conveniently stored in the garage so you can start a bike tour at any time. Strohn offers a variety of opportunities for activities and excursions. Visit the Volcano Museum, the impressive lava bomb or hike in Strohner Switzerland. The nearby Eifelsteig invites you to hike, for example to the traditional Manderscheid castle ruins. The Pulvermaar and Schalkenmehrener Maar provide a refreshing cool-down on hot days and a city tour to Trier or Koblenz is also an ideal day trip by car. In the historic district town of Cochem on the Moselle, wine lovers will get their money's worth. In Gillenfeld, 3 km away, there are shops, an excellent butcher as well as restaurants and cafes. Guest access The spacious apartment covers a total of 110 m² and is located on the 2nd floor. It is only accessible via stairs and therefore unfortunately not barrier-free. Access is via the garage roof, which is currently still not equipped with a railing. Therefore, we advise against booking with small children.
