Overlooking the Yonne valley between Sens and Joigny and surrounded by 4 hectares of parkland, Domaine Foray is a former hotel turned creative residence. We offer the entire site for rent, with its 10 bedrooms (double or group beds - sleeps 23), spacious communal areas and all amenities (car park, professional kitchen, terrace, fireplace, coworking, etc.). Quiet location, close to Joigny and swimming spot. Suitable for holidays, parties, seminars, retreats... The space Domaine Foray can accommodate up to 23 people indoors (please contact us for additional camping spaces). Domaine Foray has a large 4 hectare garden on the edge of the forest. It offers breathtaking views over the Yonne valley and spacious, light-filled rooms. The estate can host family reunions, celebrations, seminars, retreats, etc. in both summer and winter. The spaces are designed to make your dreams come true! New Addition : a spacious Scandinavian sauna with bay windows overlooking the valley and it's outdoor cold shower, offering an exceptional relaxing spa experience—all year long. We make it available to groups by reservation (€120 for the entire day and evening with unlimited access). The Domaine has 2 floors: - On the 1st floor, accessible by staircase: - Bedroom 1 with bath "group": 1 double bed + 2 single beds - Bedroom 2 with bath “cinema”: 1 double bed - Bedroom 3 with bath “reflection”: 1 double bed - Bedroom 4 with bath “musical”: 1 double bed - Bedroom 5 with shower "collage" - 1 double bed - Bedroom 6 with bath “stories”: 1 double bed - Bedroom 7 with bath room: 1 double bed and 1 single bed - Bedroom 8 with bath: 2 single beds (can be combined to make a double bed) - Ground floor bedroom: with 1 bedroom with bath and double bed (independent access, ideal for people with reduced mobility) + 1 guest bedroom with 1 double bed, dependent on the other room for bathtube (another toilet is nearby if they don't want to go through the other bedroom during the night) - Ground floor: living room (160m2) with bar, pool table, fireplace; library; co-working area with views over the valley; toilet; professional kitchen and utility room (see facilities below); outdoor terrace equipped for large gatherings, accessible via another small car park for people with reduced mobility. The Domaine is 10 minutes from Joigny with its train station, historic centre, shops and market (Wednesday and Saturday mornings), 5 minutes from Saint-Julien-du-Sault with its train station and swimming area, and 5 minutes from Cézy with its excellent bakery. At the entrance of the estate you'll find a bus stop for Joigny or Saint-Julien-du-Sault. Please note The Domaine has a private car park for all your cars, motorbikes and bicycles. The professional kitchen is equipped with two ovens, a plate warmer, two large fridges, a freezer, a wine cellar, a 4-gas piano, mixers, a juice squeezer, a blender, an ice-cream maker, an egg jacuzzi, toasters, kettles, French press coffee machine, etc. We can provide sports equipment (including lots of badminton rackets and 21 yoga mats) and musical and artistic equipment (on request and subject to conditions). The owners (Lena & Jamie) live in a semi-detached flat, autonomous and independent. We are available for any questions or requests, but respect your privacy and know how to be discreet. We are the happy roommates of Mino the dog. He is a gentle, big, fluffy, very social dog that loves children and adores carrots. You might see him in the garden, befriending butterflies. Guest access The entire property is accessible, with the exception of the basement (unless you need access to the laundry room, on request), the owners' adjoining apartment (at the other end of the building, with its own independent entrance) and the areas marked “private”. Other things to note We live in an independent flat adjoining the house. We will be present during your stay but will remain discreet or invisible, guaranteeing you complete privacy. This house is also an artists' residence, so please take care of the premises and the works, instruments and equipment. Any damage will be billed (see inventory list on arrival).
