Orchard House - Guava Grotto

Orchard House's Guava Grotto is a newly renovated premier guest suite on the upper floor of the west wing of the residence. The Orchard House Oasis awaits you and your family! Located in a private and gated community, this residence has amazing views, comfort, a small family orchard, and is centrally located in the heart of Poway. The space Your private quiet ensuite bedroom - Guava Grotto - has a very comfy Queen bed and is on the upper floor of the West Wing of the house. The ensuite bathroom is newly renovated with two sinks and a shower/tub. This suite has a view of the pool area and the surrounding hills and valley beyond. There are three private ensuite guest rooms in Orchard House for up to 6 guests all in the West Wing. Two suites are on the upper floor and are accessed via a private staircase. The third suite is on the ground floor. Each room has its own digital door lock for added security. The hosts live in the East Wing and you probably will see us outside in the pool patio common area. We provide all linens and pool towels. Don't be shy to ask about sampling some of the Orchard's bounty - there's always something ripe in sunny southern California. Our gated neighborhood is extremely safe and private. There are numerous hiking trails from the Orchard House and Poway restaurants, groceries, and beautiful Lake Poway are only a five minute drive away. Be sure to check out the Poway Farmers Market every Saturday. Further out but still less than 30 minutes away are the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park, beaches (we can recommend the best), La Jolla, Balboa Park, and all that Downtown San Diego has to offer. We're happy to provide dining and touring suggestions. Guest Access We will be here to greet you initially and will provide you with an access code to use during your stay. Your access to the house is through a door in the back of the house adjacent to the pool. You will have access to a bar area with filtered water; coffee and tea in the morning. However, the remaining living spaces including the kitchen are private for the hosts use only. During Your Stay We're available to provide suggestions and answer questions during your stay, but otherwise we will respect your desire for privacy and relaxation. This rental might not be suitable for children because the pool is not fenced or gated. Guests will be required to sign a swimming pool waiver after booking. If you have any questions regarding the pool usage, please contact the hosts. Pool: You are welcome to use the pool any time during your stay. The pool is not heated. Spa (i.e., jacuzzi/hot tub): To use the spa there is a $20 fee per usage. This fee is to help cover the cost of the natural gas needed for the spa heater. Host will turn the spa on and off upon guests request. As for payment, the host will sum up these charges at the end of your stay and AirBnB will send you a payment request or you can pay cash or electronic payment. You can use the pool or spa any time from 8AM - 10PM.
