Stylish Cottage in North Norfolk

No2 is a charming but thoroughly modernised 'home from home', renovated recently by an interiors enthusiast. Bright and deceptively spacious, this is the perfect location for your trip to the stunning North Norfolk coast. Spend your afternoons catching rays on the south facing patio; spend your evenings in front of the cosy log burner in the open plan living area. The space No2 has been tastefully renovated throughout; guests will love the coastal chic interiors and quirky use of colour to bring warmth and character to this welcoming cottage. Nestled between Sedgeford and the rather chic village of Ringstead, No2 is only a 5 minute drive from some stunning sandy beaches. Open Plan Living: Downstairs boasts a delightful lounge area with log burner, bright Joules sofas and a pine chest full of family games and paperback reads to choose from. The inviting dining area features a show-stopping oak trunk glass table with bamboo chairs; a dresser full of shells and treasures brings the magic to this calming part of the room. Peruse the carefully curated collection of coffee table books on the pink book case, before moving to the galley kitchen area with butcher's block island, Kitchen Aid mixer and Emma Bridgewater electrical appliances to match. A handy WC is hidden behind the kitchen and the area is completed with bi-folding doors that fully open up onto the south facing patio outside. Upstairs: The master bedroom has sweeping views of the surrounding farmland; a king size bed with beautiful linen and the mother of pearl drawers are the features to notice in this calming haven. The walk in wardrobe boasts ample storage space and the quirky dressing table and shearling stool are yet more of the designer touches that make the property so unique. A pretty twin room next door, with matching single beds and gorgeous coastal accents, is perfect for children and/or additional guests. Both bedrooms feature shutters and under-bed storage baskets. Bathroom: with a stunning roll top bath and brand new walk in shower, the statement Stiffkey Blue-hued bathroom with heated towel rail is a really ample size. Outside: Our recently updated front drive has space for two cars to park off-road. The substantial rear garden is a beautiful British cottage garden, filled with Norfolk lavender, perfumed rose bushes and wildlife galore. There is a lovely Bramblecrest garden sofa and table; a further dining table and benches are tucked away under cover in the outhouse area. Whilst there are some swings and a small play area at the top of the garden, guests must take care as these are a little dated. The Area: No2 is perfectly located in North Norfolk, being handy walking distance from the local pub and a short drive away from the nearest sandy beach. Thornham is less than ten minutes away; the spectacular beach of Old Hunstanton is just over five. With a co-op local in Snettisham, a Lidl in Heacham and fresh produce galore at Drove Orchards, options to eat in or out are vast. Pop to The Gin Trap in Ringstead (a 45 minute walk across the meadow if you fancy it!) for a top notch Sunday lunch; head to the Thornham Deli for your flat white and sourdough. Don't forget to try Eric's for award winning fish and chips and our favourite treat is a takeaway pizza from Bordoli's van, eaten on a picnic rug at the beach as the sun goes down. Bliss.
