Mittabah Cottage

"Mittabah Cottage" sits comfortably within a lovely garden on the northern end of Taralga, a delightful rural village surrounded by rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep and cattle. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed; 2 complete bathrooms and a third "loo with a view" outside! The spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living area offers a comfortable and well equipped space with an additional east facing sunroom providing wonderful long rural views, perfect for a morning cuppa The space There is a grassed back garden with views to the north and east. The Sunroom at the front of the Cottage bar stools that provide a comfortable location for having morning tea or coffee, or an evening predinner refreshment, whilst watching the ever-changing easterly aspect and long views. Guest access There is a front and back door to the Cottage, however, as typical with country homes, access and visitors enter mostly via the back door. Park your car in the carport and access the garden via the garden side gate. There are no steps into the Cottage, reaching the back door via a ramp. The back door is the one with the electronic PIN pad for access. This PIN will need to be used on each occasion the door is locked. The lock will remain in an unlocked state if the # key is pressed after entering the unlock PIN. The door is always in an unlocked state when exiting the building - a safety measure. Please ensure the garden-to-carport gate is closed at all times. Other things to note The only mobile telephone service offered in Taralga is Telstra. It's possible your non-Telstra mobile might work when connected to the WiFi modem in the Cottage via 'wifi-calling'. If you wish to have a lunch or dinner at The Argyle Inn, some 200 metres toward the Village centre, it is recommended that you make reservations well in advance, as it is a popular venue As this is an 'in-the-country' location, it's always a good idea to make sure your keep a keen eye out when you are walking and if walking at night, take a torch. There should be a torch under the kitchen sink. Earlier check-in time and later check-out time is often available, so please ask. Registration Details PID-STRA-72701
