Fisherman’s dream, Woodend Cottage sits beside The Oaks Lakes - 10 fishing ponds surrounded by trees and nature set in a beautiful North Yorkshire village, perfect for a relaxing break but with a central location for visiting towns and cities such as York, Harrogate and Thirsk or the North Yorkshire Moors, there is something for everyone. The space The property has one step at the front door however once in the property it is all one level. There is a large living room with log burner, followed by a Kitchen/ Dining room with fully equipped kitchen, large oak dining table, under-counter integrated fridge freezer, Electric oven and hob, integrated microwave and wine chiller. At the back of the property there is a large cloak room with Sink, Washer and WC. There are three large double bedrooms, with fitted mirrored wardrobes, 2 x Superking rooms one with a zip link bed which can be made into another Superking, (please ask for this option) 1x Twin Room There is a main bathroom with large glass enclosed shower and a 3/4 Bath and airing cupboard. To the front of the property there is a driveway and cottage style front garden overlooking farmland then to the back of the property there is a large enclosed lawned garden with gate which leads through to the fishing ponds. Other things to note Dogs are allowed in the property (max 3) unfortunately they can not be walked around the fishing ponds however the village has some lovely walks over the farmland or through the village.
