Perfect for adventurers and nature lovers alike or those looking to escape the city! The space Our home blends modern style with the timeless charm of a 1960s colonial-garrison house. Spread across two stories with an unfinished basement, it has been thoughtfully updated and renovated over the past three years to create a comfortable and inviting space while preserving its original character. Kitchen & Dining: Fully renovated and thoughtfully designed, the kitchen features new appliances, ample counter space, and functional rustic decor. Equipped with an induction cooktop, ceramic pans, stainless steel pots, a coffee maker, and dinnerware, it has everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable cooking experience. Living Room: Spacious with a full-sized couch, recliner, and a cozy loveseat by the window. Enjoy views of our wooded backyard, or use the writing desk for your work or creative moments. Guest Bedrooms: Both bedrooms offer queen-sized beds, reading chairs, desks, and built-in closets. Filled with natural light, each room also includes light-blocking curtains for a restful night’s sleep. With ample outlets for charging your devices and mini-split HVAC systems, you can enjoy personalized comfort throughout your stay. Guest Bathroom: Recently renovated, the bathroom features a spacious vanity, a full-sized shower, and a waist-high mirror. We’ve provided towels, washcloths, and essential toiletries to ensure your stay is as convenient and comfortable as possible. Back Deck & Yard: Step outside to a large deck with seating for six and a propane grill, perfect for outdoor dining. The yard is small but serene, surrounded by trees for a peaceful retreat. Location, Location, Location! Getting here is a breeze! Our home is just a 5-minute walk from the Trailways bus stop, with a quick 1.5-hour ride to NYC. Once you arrive, you’ll find restaurants, shops, SUNY, and more within walking distance. For easy local travel, take advantage of the free UCAT shuttle, or grab a taxi to the world-renowned Gunks for climbing. Additional Information: Free off-street parking is available, and we’ve taken extra care to ensure safety with smoke detectors, a first aid kit, and fire extinguishers on hand. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself with some rooms/areas inaccessible. Prior to your visit, an automated door code will be generated and sent via Airbnb. Off street parking in the driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles. Accessibility Please note that our home is not fully accessible, as there are stairs leading to the front door and bedrooms. If you have specific accessibility needs, feel free to reach out, and we’ll help determine if our home is a good fit for your stay. Pet Allergies We share our home with our fluffy dog, McQuade! While he’s not allowed in the guest rooms or on the furniture, you may notice signs of his presence. The house is thoroughly cleaned before each stay to ensure your comfort.
