Come enjoy autumn in the Catskill Mountains! It's the best time to visit the Catskills! Crisp nights, fresh apple cider, U-pick farms, bonfires, and picture-perfect fall foliage. Get outside to explore our trails, parks, and lakes or visit the local casino or indoor waterpark. You will feel right at home in this renovated, charming cottage. Located steps from a spring-fed lake in the heart of the Catskills, this is a great place for four-season recreation. The space Enjoy all the comforts of home at this clean and beautifully renovated Catskill Mountain cabin, located in a small and friendly lake community. The house was recently gut renovated with a focus on space and comfort. We are continuously upgrading/ adding amenities to ensure an excellent stay. No need to pack up your entire house- we provide clean towels, linen, and basic kitchen necessities as well as soap, shampoo and a washer/dryer. We have excellent Wi-Fi and multiple laptop friendly workspaces. Out front there is a carport with space for at least two vehicles, as well as additional spots on the grass. Walk up a few steps to the front porch and into the front door. There is a spacious living room with two comfortable couches with two built-in recliners. Enjoy the game or access your subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) on the 50" smart, flat-screen TV. We have an assortment of books, games and children's toys as well as brochures for local points of interest. In the kitchen we have a stainless steel fridge and powerful convection oven, as well as a toaster oven, microwave and bread toaster. basic pots, pans and utensils. We have a full set of cutlery, mugs and dishware. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of K-cups, tea bags, sugar and creamer. The dining room table offers seating for six. There are three bedrooms in the house. Each one has a window air conditioner during the warm months and storage space. The mattresses, pillows and blankets are super comfortable, and each room has black-out shades, helping you to a great night's sleep even away from home. Master Bedroom: Offers a king-sized bed, nightstand and closet with a chest of drawers. There is an iron/ironing board and an extra fan in the closet. There is also a ceiling fan above the bed. Bedroom 2: This room is great for adults or kids. There is a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on bottom and twin mattress on top. In the closet you can find the life jackets, tv dinner/laptop tables and a rail for the lower bunk in case you have young children. Sorry, no ceiling fan in this room, we value your head. Bedroom 3: This room has two twin beds with a nightstand in-between, and a bureau with hanging space and drawers in which you can find extra towels and blankets. This room also has a ceiling fan. The bathroom has extra toiletries in the medicine cabinet and there is a hair iron under the sink. There is a tub and shower. The back room is a great bonus space with a foosball table and washer/dryer. The back deck is a great place to relax with a table and chairs located next to the BBQ grill. We provide grill utensils. On the lawn we have chairs around a fire pit, perfect for outdoor cooking, smores-making or warming up in the colder months Hot Tub all year round . Enjoy endless stars under the clear mountain sky. We have Adirondack rockers and a hammock out in the summer months. There is baseboard heating throughout the house, with an individual thermostat in each room. There is also a 24,000 BTU split system located in the dining area which can provide extra cooling or heating during extreme temperatures. On the side of the house, we have a fire pit, a large trampoline, basketball hoop and a playground for the kids. We have an infant bathtub, pack-n-play, and toddler booster seat always available at the house. The 4+ acre lake is located just a few hundred steps from the house and is a wonderful place to play or relax. It is accessed via a community beachfront area. The beachfront area (grass, not sand) has a picnic table for lakeside dining. The lake allows non-motorized boating and activities and is stocked with an array of fish for catch and release fishing. The lake is less than 6' deep in most spots and is great for swimming. There is a dock in the middle during warmer months, perfect for lounging on or for jumping into the lake. We have a pedal boat that you can use, instructions can be found in the house manual. The lake usually freezes over during the winter, allowing for ice skating, ice fishing or tubing. Please make sure it is frozen solid before walking on it! Pets are allowed case by case, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring one. If you bring a pet, an extra $25 cleaning fee will be charged after booking. We strive to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We have a caretaker in the community and live nearby in case anything is needed. We always listen to suggestions to keep improving the house and the supplies that we offer. Our guidebook offers recommendations for local restaurants, activities and attractions. We look forward to hosting your stay!
