The space Welcome to Stones Throw Cottage — a comfortable, family- and pet-friendly home in St. Helen built for ORV weekends, relaxing getaways, and time together in Northern Michigan. One of our biggest advantages is legal ride-in/ride-out ORV access. Bring the machines, unload once, and head out to the trails without having to trailer back and forth. The property also offers plenty of room for trucks, trailers, and ORV parking. After a day on the trails, come back and relax in the private hot tub, settle into the living room, stream your favorite shows, or enjoy a meal together in the fully equipped kitchen. The cottage sleeps up to 8 guests with three bedrooms, including a King bed in the primary bedroom and Queen beds in the other two bedrooms, plus additional sleeping options in the living area. Roku-equipped TVs, fast Wi-Fi, blackout curtains, central heat and air conditioning, and a dedicated workspace help make longer stays comfortable too. The kitchen is stocked for real use, with a Keurig, cookware, dishes, and small appliances including an air fryer, Ninja blender, Instant Pot, toaster, and popcorn maker. Families will also find helpful extras such as a high chair, baby swing, Pack ’n Play, and linens. Towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other basic amenities are provided so you can pack a little lighter. Whether you're coming to ride the St. Helen ORV trails, soak in the hot tub, explore Northern Michigan, or simply get away with family and friends, Stones Throw Cottage gives you a comfortable home base with the parking and accessibility that ORV groups need. Guest access Our home is accessible with code access provided after you book with us. South end of the home has a code-lock as well, but for emergency use only. Code is supplied if there is trouble with our Wi-Fi code lock. Our home features 1 floor throughout with no steps! You may use any part of the property outside. We have personal belongings and vehicles parked in various places, so please practice courtesy and respect around them. It is prohibited to use any machines in the back acreage of the property for safety/liability reasons. You are most welcome to walk and enjoy it though! Other things to note Please read our house rules. Reading them ourselves seems excessive, but if you treat our home just like yours, we shouldn't have any issues!
