Cozy cottage with views of Lookout Mountain, just minutes from Downtown Chattanooga attractions. Home is located in peaceful and beautiful North Georgia, one mile off Iron Man route. We are a convenient 9 miles to downtown Chattanooga including the TN Aquarium, Coolidge Park, tons of local restaurants, and all sorts of outdoor activities. Also minutes away is local national park, the Chickamauga Battlefield. The beautiful view from the living room picture window invites you to explore and enjoy! The Darby Cottage is a wonderful space for adults, couples and friends! Enter through the well-apportioned kitchen with bar seating area, or through the living room with picture-window view of Lookout Mountain. TV provided with DVD and VHS players, lots of movies available, no cable but there is a Roku to access streaming services through Wifi (Netflix, Hulu, etc. via your own account). Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dinnerware and flatware, as well as spices and cooking spray. Coffee maker, filters, coffee, non-dairy creamer, and sweeteners all provided. Seating is available at breakfast nook in kitchen, as well as attached formal dining room. Dining room is also stocked with lots of games and a basket of brochures from around the Chattanooga area! Hall bath is a full bath and easily accessible from all areas of the house. Guest room has queen bed, closet space and dresser available, as well as plenty of books to peruse. Office area includes desk, futon, and beautiful view of the mountain. Laundry located inside office. The oversized master bedroom contains a second full bath as well as a reading area stocked with books! Two closets in master provide lots of space for your stay. After a day of activities, enjoy the views and fresh, country air from the outdoor seating beneath beautiful tall trees. Please contact us with any questions. Located in north Walker County, Georgia, very near Chickamauga, Georgia. This residence is in a rural area and is very, very quiet and peaceful. But, there is a brand new Food City two minutes down the road! The area has a small town/out in the country feel. No children under 12. Plenty of outdoor parking available! We have a strict no smoking policy, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
