Description
Come relax with the whole family at this peaceful cozy cabin located in the Allegheny National Forest! This unique property offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, and a large wrap around deck to enjoy your morning coffee on while watching the local wildlife roam. The master bedroom offers a plush queen size bed, while the second bedroom has two twin bunkbeds. This property is minutes away from downtown Bradford and is directly across from snowmobile trail 1A! The space This spacious cabin sleeps 6 comfortably and is great for all ages as it lies in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. The master bedroom provides a plush queen size bed, while the other bedroom provides two sets of bunk beds suitable for adults and/or children. Both rooms contain a large closet with hangers as well as a dresser for use. With little ones in mind, we have provided sippy cups, plates and utensils for toddlers! We also provide additional items for children such as pack-n-plays if requested. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary utensils and cookware to make your stay feel like home. A few days worth of sugar packets, k-cups and tea bags will also be there for you to enjoy. The provided coffee pot is a 2 in 1 Kureg as it allows for guests to use coffee grounds and/or k-cups. For your convenience, cooking oil, spices, salt/pepper, tin foil, Saran Wrap and sandwich/gallon bags will be available at the cabin. The living room is equipped with a standing air conditioner during the summer months. A 55” smart TV will also be available as guest are welcome to connect to their paid streaming accounts. The living room also houses many books and games for the whole family to enjoy. The two couches are chairs recline to allow the guests to relax and enjoy a movie theater experience while at the cabin. The dining room seats 6 guests. Wine glasses, shot glasses, beer mugs and cocktail glasses are available for use. The dining room has three bar stools for guests to utilize as well. The bathroom is completely renovated and has a large deep tub suitable for a relaxing bath after a long hike at the ANF. Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, towels and makeup removal towels are available during your stay. The deck on the property is breathtaking as it spans from the side of the house all the way around the back. Tables, chairs and an umbrella are available for guests to take advantage of while enjoying a meal, coffee or watching wildlife along the creek behind the property. The deck also offers a propane fire pit or feel free to enjoy a fire and s’mores in the large back yard . The master bedroom does have private access to the porch through a sliding glass door. Internet access (Wi-Fi) through a StarLink connection is available on the property, or feel free to go off the grid and take a break from technology, as the area is limited in cellphone (5G) service. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin and the provided amenities. Other things to note Enjoy this laid back and relaxed property as it sits near the northern gateway to the PA Wilds! This location is close to a number of recreational campgrounds within the Allegheny National Forest including Willow Bay, Red Bridge, Tracy Ridge, and Kiasutha to name a few. You can enjoy a number of activities within the National Forest including boating, jet skiing, hiking and swimming. Allegany State Park (New York) is also close by as Bradford is located near the NY state border. Picnics, bike trails, hiking trails, swimming, fishing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are just a few activities that the parks can offer. The Marilla Reservoir is located just down the road from the property offering hiking, fishing and kayaking. Visitors can take advantage of the winter activities the area has to offer and visit Holiday Valley Ski Resort, HoliMont, or enjoy the numerous snowmobile trails located within the Bradford area (trail 1A is accessible from the cabin). If you prefer museums or historical locations, Bradford and surrounding area’s offer the Zippo/Case Museum, Marilyn Horne Museum, Bradford Landmark Society, Kinzua Bridge, World War II Museum, Rock City Park, and the Penn Brad Oil museum. Other local activities include bowling, family owned restaurants, chain restaurants, parks, golfing, ice skating rink, movie theater, and shopping.
