Built with dovetail pine, and on a cliff overlooking the lake this cosy unit contains all you need to make it your tiny home away from home. Includes access to a shared dock, hiking trails, sauna, cedar shower and use of canoes, kayaks and SUPs. Our camping style cabin is unheated and guests provide pillows, season appropriate bedding and towels. Part of a small eco-resort that has the feel of a wilderness getaway yet is less than 15 minutes from the restaurants and shops of downtown Kenora. Includes Sleeps 2 adults (plus up to 2 kids) Daybed with queen-size pullout on main floor California King mattress in the loft (mattresses are foam with wipe-able covers). Please note that the loft is much smaller than in our log cabins and is more like a top bunk than a room. ** Guests bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, towels and bedding. **Unit is unheated and camping style. Indoor dining and sitting area Outdoor kitchenette on porch with 2-burner propane cook-top, ice-box (with free ice available on site), dishes and cookware including French press coffee maker, dishpan and soap, drinking water and wash water Porch and outdoor sitting area with patio table and seating as well as a fire pit with grill Solar-powered lighting and single plug for charging phones, cameras, etc. Composting toilet nearby Access to pay-shower building on-site (loonie for five minutes) Includes access to a shared dock, hiking trails, sauna ($10 fee to cover firewood), cedar shower and use of canoes, kayaks and SUPs. Guest access You will have access to the entire cabin including a private picnic area with a fire-pit overlooking the lake. Additionally you will have access to all the shared amenities of the eco-resort including a wood-fired sauna near the cabin, a cedar pay-shower with hot water, docks and use of canoes, kayaks and sups, hiking trails, play structure and several shared picnic areas with fire-pits. Other things to note Max 2 adults (+2 kids). Please bring loonies for the shower (1 loonie = 5 minutes) Wood for outdoor bonfires is available to purchase separately for $10/bag. Their is also a $10 fee to cover firewood for the sauna. Unit is runs off small solar system that runs lighting and charge electronics, and is unheated. We do not provide towels, pillows or bedding. We welcome families with young children to stay with us but please note the lofted sleeping area is accessed by a steep open staircase and there is a balcony, not a wall that separates the loft from the main floor.
