"Ringen" in Nedstrand by the fjord

Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful nature we have here in Nedstrand Our house is from 1921 and timbered walls/wooden house - about 150 m2. It is located by the lake, about 10 meters, boathouse with beach there, and has a great view of the fjord 1st floor: hallway, living room/kitchen, 1 living room with bench), 1 toilet 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms on 2 floors - 2 rooms with double bed, 2 rooms with 2 single beds, as well as 1 bathroom with shower There are many marked hiking trails near the house, we have our own brochure. Himåkånå-panorama approx. 1.5 h. The space We have renovated the entire house, but kept the beautiful timber walls throughout the house. Some bedrooms we have wallpapered. It is a charming house and there is a private wood-burning stove in the living room. Large windows for good views. Nice and quiet area. Close to hiking area, about 5 minutes walk to Tveit forest with many marked hiking trails, ranging from 1-3 hours, from forest trails to the beautiful top "Ørnasetet" with a panorama of the entire fjord basin. This forest is unique with over 80 different types of wood. We have a small brochure that tells about the finest trips nearby. Himåkånå panorama is the biggest attraction in Nedstrand with over 3000 visitors a year and it takes about 1.5 hours to walk to the top from the house. About 1 hour down again. Gas grill available in the garden and two places with tables and chairs outside - one on the wooden terrace and one on the stone terrace. If you are interested in canoeing, we can provide it. We have a kayak in the boathouse, but you must be able to use it. Always use a life jacket. At times we may have access to a motorboat that can be used for an extra fee. Guest access Guests can use the 1st and 2nd floor. We have closed the attic and basement for storage. For longer stays, we can discuss the use of the basement for the use of a washing machine. The house: The house is over 100 years old and although both floors have been renovated, doors, windows, etc. have been changed, it is an old house with great charm and not a "villa-style". There are high quality double beds and single beds with good mattresses. This is a place we have had for about 20 years and we have used it all year since it is insulated and with a heat pump that heats the house well. And Nedstrand has different nature through the seasons and since it is usually mild here, i.e. around 10 degrees or more, you can go for walks to enjoy nature all year round.
