"Ringen" in Nedstrand by the fjord

Here you can lower your shoulder and slide into the lovely nature we have here in Nedstrand Our house is from 1921 and empty walls/wooden house - about 150 m2. It is located by the sea, about 10 meters, boathouse w/beach there, and has a great view of the fjord 1st floor: entrance, living room/kitchen, 1 living room with bench), 1 toilet 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor - 2 rooms with double bed, 2 rooms with 2 single beds, and 1 bathroom with shower There are many marked hiking trails near the house, we have our own brochure. Himåkånå-panorama approx. 1,5 h. The space We have renovated the entire house but kept the great timber walls throughout the house. Some bedrooms we have wallpaper. There is a charming house and its own wood-burning stove in the living room. Large windows for a good view. Quiet and peaceful area. Close to hiking area, about 5 minutes walk to Tveit forest with many marked hiking trails, ranging from 1-3 hours, from forest trails to the great top "Ørnasetet" with panorama over the entire fjord pool. This forest is unique with over 80 different woods. We have a small brochure that tells you about the nicest hikes nearby. Himåkånå-panorama is the largest attraction in Nedstrand with over 30 00 visitors a year and it takes about 1.5 hours to walk to the top from the house. Around 1 hour down again. Gas grill at your disposal in the garden and two places with tables and chairs outside - one on the wooden terrace and one on the stone terrace. If interest in canoe, we can get it. We have a kayak in the boathouse, but then you must be able to know this to use it. Always wear a life jacket. During periods, we may have access to a motorboat that can be used for an extra payment. Guest access Guests can use 1 and 2 floors. We are closed for storage attic and basement. For longer stays, we can discuss the use of the basement for using the washing machine. The house: The house is over 100 years ago and even though both floors have been renovated, changed doors, windows, etc., it is an old house with great charm and not "villa". There are high quality double beds and single beds with good mattresses. This is a place we have had for about 20 years and we have used it all year since it is insulated and with a heat pump that heats the house well. And Nedstrand has different nature throughout the seasons and since it is usually mild here, i.e. around 10 degrees or more, a hike can enjoy nature all year round.
