I invite you to stay at 'Heath Cottage' our happy place. Centrally located in historic Heathcote, with easy access from this conveniently located home base. A 5-minute walk from the heart of town, park your car and wander down the longest main street in country Victoria. Perfectly positioned near the O'Keefe Rail Trail and walking distance to wineries, bars, cafes and Chauncy restaurant. This 2-bedroom property invites you in to relax and enjoy all facilities with ample off-street parking. The space Featuring 2 bedrooms, one queen bed and two king single beds with ceiling fans and electric blankets fitted during the cooler months. There is a porta cot (no linen) and highchair for little ones at no extra cost. The house boasts a fully equipped modern kitchen and a spacious bathroom with a separate bath. The cozy lounge invites you to relax in front of the TV. The dining area seats up to six people plus a highchair. A sweet little sitting room off to the side for those who want to chill. There is free high speed NBN available for guest use. The front porch captures the beautiful morning sun and the spacious grass back yard is great for the kids to run around. Use the BBQ and outdoor area to unwind as the sun sets around the wine barrel or picnic table. Fun fact - When deliberating over what to name our little house, I searched the meaning of Heathcote, and this is what I found. The word HEATHCOTE is a name in English history dating back to the 1200's which literally means "Heath Cottage". Cute, I think :) Guest access As our guest you are welcome to use all available facilities on the property and make yourself at home. This is also my holiday house, therefore some cupboards are secured for owners use including the garage and private bedroom. These are clearly labelled or locked and I thank you for respecting this. Other things to note Our coffee machine is ALDI Espresso. Some pods will be provided. You are welcome to use the porta cot, please provide your own linen.
