Ponies graze peacefully in the surrounding paddocks, and nearby guided horse treks are available for beginners through to experienced riders (additional cost). Guests can also join a guided farm tour to explore the property and meet the animals (additional fee applies). Nearby, discover a cave and waterfall, or wander along abundant nature trails that showcase the beauty of the area. Step back in time with artifacts from the original settlers and immerse yourself in the serene landscape. Many guests enjoy visiting the charming Nikau Cave Café and taking the scenic waterfall walk. For a bit of adventure, take a day trip to Raglan. Surfboards are available for hire for those ready to catch a wave. Nothing fancy - just a simple, cozy farm cabin surrounded by nature and animals. Other things to note This is a working family farm, and the cabin is simple and practical rather than styled. We’re gradually upgrading facilities while keeping the stay affordable.
