Captivating Chitek Lake Chalet

Come and relax with the whole family in this luxurious, 3 story, scenic lake view, Chalet style house. Located in the beautiful boreal forest in Chitek Lake, SK. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Comfortably accommodates up to 12 people. Well-behaved pets are welcome because pets are family. The space Step inside to discover a spacious open living area with high vaulted ceiling and an impressive wall of large windows overlooking the lake. You’ll find a beautiful stone wood fireplace with comfortable leather furniture, the perfect place to gather on cool evenings. Perhaps play one of the board games kept on sight or curl up with a book. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials you may need, including a toaster, coffee maker, and air-fryer. Chilled, filtered drinking water is available. A stand up freezer is also available for additional freezing space. If you need something we haven’t thought of, please reach out as the property manager only lives a few blocks away. Step outside and find a large gas BBQ and patio furniture to enjoy some well-deserved down time. You can also enjoy a hotdog roast and make s’mores with the family in our outdoor firepit. There is a large parking area at the back of the house with ample parking for vehicles, boats, ATVs and sleds. There also is a heated double garage (at an additional cost in the winter months) that can house your toys keeping them secure, toasty and snow free when not in use. The garage must be requested in advance! On the top floor, you’ll find a large bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed and 3-piece ensuite bathroom. This bedroom boasts a view of the lake through a window overlooking the living area’s large windows. A TV is also located in this room that you can connect your device to. On the main floor you’ll find the master bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed and 3-piece ensuite as well as a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds. Another separate 3-piece bathroom is located on this floor as well. In the walk out basement you’ll find 2 more bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with 2 double beds. Both rooms have lockable patio doors with black out blinds ensuring the deepest, relaxing of slumber. There is another 3-piece bathroom located in this area. The highlight of this floor is the comfortable sitting area with a wood burning fireplace which provides a separate private area when sharing this house with more than one family. In the warmer months, explore swimming at the beach right across the road (or one of the 3 other beaches Chitek Lake has to offer) or go golfing, mini golfing, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, quadding or even just relax with a cup of your favorite beverage on the upper or lower deck while gazing at breathtaking views. Enjoy the central air to cool off on the hottest of days! The house faces west looking at the lake, so imagine the spectacular sunset views! Don’t forget to watch out for Northern Lights! In the cooler months, set out on your snowmobiles and discover many of the groomed trails (check out link provided for a map), go ice fishing or lace up your skates and experience skating on the lake! Snowshoeing is another favorite winter activity with many different lengths of trails amongst the village. At the end of your adventurous day, enjoy the warmth of wood burning heat in one of the two indoor fireplaces. Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Please have pets relieve themselves in designated areas to refrain from damaging the lawn. Pets must be leashed outside at all times as per village by-laws. Guest access The whole house Other things to note One bath towel per guest is provided for use at the Chalet only, NOT the beach. Please bring your own beach towels. Bedding and sheets provided for each bed. Bring additional blankets if you think you'll need them. Bring your own toiletries! Bathrooms will be stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper each and there will be 2 rolls of paper towel. For longer stays, please consider bringing more with you if you feel you'll need it.
