Cobble Hill Carriage House

Relax in our spacious, recently built, 2 year old carriage house. Complete with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds and a full bathroom with a shower/bath tub. The living room has a big screen T.V. and a couch that makes into a double bed. The large deck is very private and has a BBQ for your enjoyment. There is also a washer and dryer set in the suite. The space Surrounded by beautiful Douglas fir and cedar trees which you can enjoy from the deck. The Cowichan Valley is known for it's world class vineyards which are numerous and within driving distance from our home. There are many beautiful sights to see in the area. The Malahat Skywalk has panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. Cowichan Bay is a quaint village on the bay with wonderful restaurants and even whale watching. The Kinsol Trestle is a must see if you enjoy a little walking and then take a swim in Shawnigan Lake afterwards to cool off. Our town of Duncan is home to the totem pole tour. Or, drive down the scenic Malahat for a day exploring the beauty of Victoria. We are also close to a nice playground for the kids. The eagles soar over our place and if you are lucky in the still of the night you may hear our resident great horned and barred owls while star gazing without the glow of city lights. Tree frogs croak in the evening and you might hear a rooster (one gone now, so much quieter), or the neighborhood ducks, as we are considered a rural area, yet close to the Trans Canada Highway for easy commuting.
