Welcome to Little Glen (Glenbourne)

We are situated in a superb rural location with rolling countryside all around us but only a mile away from military road and the southern coastline and coves. The area is perfect for walkers, cyclists, and getting away from the hustle & bustle of modern life. The space Little Glen is attached to the side of the main building, with its own private entrance and completely self-contained. there is a brand new kitchenette, fully equipped with a duel induction hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, ninja air-fryer and a Nespresso coffee pod machine. we have provided crockery, cutlery, glassware, saucepans and utensils with plenty of cupboard space. It is set in a superb semi rural location for couples, ramblers, coastal walks and cyclists and a great place from which to explore the Island. There are many foot/cycle paths to explore the scenic countryside. Our self contained 1-bedroom annex will sleep up-to 2 guests. The accommodation is open plan with a fully fitted modern kitchenette/lounge/diner, with a separate double bedroom and double bed, with dressing table and hanging storage unit. The bathroom is equipped with a fitted bath an overhead electric shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail, we can also provide towels on request. In the kitchen fridge you will find a pint of fresh semi skimmed milk and bottled water that is complimentary for your arrival, as is tea and coffee. There is an outside table & chairs where you can eat and enjoy a glass of wine or sit in the sun and relax. It’s a perfect romantic break for 2 or ideal for walking holidays, with easy access to the local footpaths, all providing lovely views surrounded by fields but only a short drive to the local pubs. You will be at complete peace with only the sound of the birds, horses, sheep, cows plus the ducks next door! This is a great base to explore the beautiful Isle of Wight. We also have a bus (number 6) a short walk that goes into Newport or Ventnor. Additional Rules During your stay please contact the owners by phone, email or simply ring the door bell. Any damages or breakages to be paid for and settled before departure. No smoking or vaping on the property. We politely ask if you could kindly remove muddy or wet footwear as you enter inside there is a tray placed just behind the front door. Guest access Vehicle parking is off-road on our private and gated driveway, so nice and secure and easily accessible when needed. The gate is 3m wide so a little limited to very large vehicles. There is a lockbox to the righthand side of the property. Other things to note We are situated the far south of the Island with its own distinct country feel and breathtaking views. Very much the best of both worlds when it comes to Country vs Coast.
