A peaceful, adult-only off-grid glamping stay designed for rest, privacy, and time in nature. Mt Jukes Eco Retreat is a calm, rural retreat environment where guests come to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy the land. To protect this experience for everyone, the retreat operates with clear quiet hours and behaviour guidelines. This stay is best suited to guests who value stillness and nature, and is not suitable for parties, gatherings, visitors, or amplified sound. The space 🌿Quiet, adult-only luxury glamping in a fully off-grid, nature-based retreat setting. Each private glamping tent is thoughtfully positioned to offer comfort, privacy, and a strong connection to the land. Guests often begin or end the day soaking in their private outdoor cast-iron bath, taking in views toward Mt Jukes as the light shifts across the valley. The tents sit within a carefully restored landscape where over 700 trees have been planted, including 350+ fruit trees across more than 50 varieties, alongside bamboo and bushland. A natural spring flows through the property over ancient volcanic rock, grounding the stay in a deep sense of place, regeneration, and care for the land. Optional wellness offerings, such as infrared sauna sessions or pre-ordered vegetarian meals, may be available with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to arrival. Guest access Glamping guests have exclusive access to their private tent, including: • Queen bed and king single bed (or as configured) • Ensuite bathroom with private outdoor cast-iron bath • Kitchenette with fridge, cooktop, kettle and Nespresso machine • Direct-blow air-conditioning and fans • Private deck with outdoor seating Shared access includes designated garden walking areas and the natural spring. Please note: the Supreme Lodge, chai house, and yoga shala are not included in glamping bookings and are not accessible to glamping guests. Free parking is available near the glamping area. When moving through shared areas, including the creek, voices must be kept low to maintain the quiet retreat environment. Other things to note 🌱 Off-grid comfort Mt Jukes operates fully off-grid using solar power and rainwater. Direct-blow air-conditioning is provided for sleeping comfort and is designed to cool the bed area rather than the entire tent. Fans are also provided. 🔇 Quiet hours Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. Mt Jukes Eco Retreat is a calm, adult-only rural retreat environment. Sound carries easily across the land, and guests are expected to keep voices and activity low during quiet hours. Parties, gatherings, visitors, and amplified sound are not permitted at any time. Breaches of quiet hours or behaviour guidelines may result in immediate cancellation without refund. 🍷 Alcohol & shared spaces Alcohol is permitted inside private accommodation only. All shared areas are alcohol-free. 🔥 Fire safety (winter months) Fire pits are available from May to mid-September. Guests are responsible for fully extinguishing fires each night and following all fire safety instructions provided. Firewood packages are available to pre-order. 🌐 Internet & connection Wi-Fi hotspots are available for essential use. This stay is designed to support rest and time offline. 🌿 Optional extras (subject to availability) Infrared sauna sessions and pre-ordered vegetarian meals may be available during your stay. Yoga and sound healing sessions may be available when scheduled retreats are taking place. All add-on bookings require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to arrival and are subject to availability. 🌳 Farm & fruit policy Mt Jukes is a working farm with rare fruit orchards. Fruit is harvested sustainably, and availability varies seasonally. Excess produce is donated to local community services. 🚗 Nearby options Mt Jukes Family Farm is a short 5-minute drive for wood-fired pizzas and relaxed meals. Beaches, freshwater swimming holes, and local markets are within easy driving distance. Some guests stay close; others explore and return at the end of the day.
