Located just 45 minutes from Ottawa and 5 minutes from the Quyon ferry, this serene getaway is easily accessible and offers a peaceful escape from the city. Experience tranquility and adventure in one perfect destination. The space ** Pictures are a mix of pre-and-post exterior renovation. The house is now white and black board and batten. New pictures coming June 2026 ** The house was renovated in February 2025, and again in October 2025, and includes modern but comfortable finishes throughout. There are two sitting areas both including a gas fireplace and 65" smart TV. The kids can play in the walk-out basement while you enjoy some time upstairs. The cottage includes three full bathrooms, each with a large shower. The chef's kitchen includes a gas cooktop, electric oven, stainless steel pots, sharp knives, and all of the spices, utensils and small appliances you'll need to create your masterpiece. Guest access Guests have access to the entire two-storey 2800 sq ft cottage and the surrounding 3 acre property, including hundreds of feet of waterfront on the Ottawa river. There are two outdoor fire pits, each with ample firewood, kindling, and Adirondack chairs. The back lawn is nice and flat, and the front lawn slopes down toward the river. There's a large deck by the water that's connected to a floating dock. You can walk into the water on a gentle slope, or you can jump right in off the end of the dock. The bottom of the river near the dock is a mix of sand and mud, and is perfect for swimming. There are rocks and grasses further away from the dock on either side, but the swimming area is clear. The entrance to the property includes a large pond with a fountain and waterfall/stream, and a small sitting area with a gas fire pit. If the water is high enough, the pond freezes over in winter and becomes a skating rink. Ask us if you should bring your skates! Other things to note EV charger is a Tesla Universal Wall Connector, and supports both NACS (Tesla) and J1772 (most other vehicles) connectors. Early check-in and late check-out can be accommodated as long as no other guests are leaving or arriving the same day.
