Tuckerbox Tiny is located in Gundagai only a few minutes drive from Hume Freeway. It is perfect for a romantic/family getaway or as a quiet and peaceful break on your road trip. Ideally located just out of town, Tuckerbox Tiny is surrounded hills, overlooks Morley’s Creek and picturesque farmland. It feels like a private country retreat but is only 2km to the Main Street, where you can enjoy breakfast at fantastic cafe’s, bakery, museums, antique shops, Carberry Park, supermarket, etc The space Situated well away from the main house on a large property with approx 500sq meters of garden fenced off for your private use. It maybe tiny but won’t believe how spacious it is inside!! There is a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a living area with comfy couch and bathroom with a shower, composting toilet and washing machine. There are two loft bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a comfy queen size bed and is cleverly designed so you can walk right up to the bed and wardrobe. The second room has two single beds. Both bedrooms have rural views to the East and internal plantation shutters. The main bedroom also has a skylight to catch the Milky Way. Also your tiny home is complemented with a full length deck outdoor dining setting and shade umbrella. Here you can enjoy a family dinner, stargazing with a glass of wine or breakfast in the morning sun. There is plenty of native bird life around including Mopoke owl, blue wrens, yellow finches, rosellas, parrots and even regular sightings of Pelicans and a pair of Wedge Tail Eagles. Tuckebox Tiny is family and pet friendly with plenty of room for your four legged friends to run around in the private garden and a tree house for the kids. Please note the stairs are not suitable for young children (under 3yo). Guest access Access to Tuckerbox Tiny is from Moon St where you will find your private gate and ample off-street vehicle parking right next to the steps leading onto the deck. This makes unloading your goodies or sleepy kids super easy. Other things to note Our generous welcome pack includes snacks, bottled water and a bottle of wine. These items are all free. We encourage all our guests to eat locally at one of the family friendly pubs or cafe's. For guests who just want a quick healthy meal at home after a long drive, we also stock some healthy ready meals and bottled juices from Soulara / Macros. These are clearly marked with price tags and will operate like a hotel mini-bar. Please place cash for what you use in the 'mini bar' envelope. Strictly no parties and no smoking inside. There is a swing for younger kids. Older Kids can climb the tree house at your own risk. The composting toilet is very easy to use but please follow the instructions provided to reduce odour and keeping working as it should. There is a gravel bike track to the Dog on Tucker Box five miles from Gundagai with only a short section ~2.5 km of very quiet road book to get you to the start of the bike track. Bikes are available but please book in advance to confirm sizing. Please let us know if you would like to see Guinea pigs as they are in our back yard. With prices of energy continuing to rise we need to charge extra to cover cost of guests charging EVs. An EV charge fee of $20 per day will be effective only for new bookings from 12th October 2025 and only if you plug your EV in during your stay at our tiny house. Registration Details Exempt
