Our newly remodeled three bedroom house, with high speed internet and AC, sleeps six with one queen bed and four twin beds. There are two full bathrooms & fully equipped kitchen. We are conveniently located in north east Cumberland, MD, 4 miles from Interstate 68, and Rt. 220, restaurants & shopping. Our mountain home provides: - a cozy three bedroom, one level house with 2 full bathrooms and full kitchen - 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds - a front yard, covered porch, back deck and grill - free high speed internet and large Roku TV - AC for summertime **House rules and policies: - Check in is between 4pm – 8 pm, check out is by 10am - Children are welcome and must be with an adult at all times; rental is not child proof - Due to allergy concerns animals are not allowed - Maximum number of guest is 6, must include booking guest, all must provide ID at or before check in for key code to be obtained - Past the deck and all woods surrounding rental are off limit to guest - Only those on reservation, the original day of booking, and only guest vehicle are allowed to enter property, driveway and house during stay - Please refrain from loud noise, smoking/vaping, operating hand tools, charging vehicles, drugs, glitter, parties or reunions - No trespassing past deck of house or in surrounding woods or turning your vehicle around in any area past deck for any reason - Please park near house parking sign - No tampering with outside security cameras Occasionally, during the day you may hear lawnmowers, machinery, hunting, dirt bike riding or caretaker tending to wood stove or utilities in basement should the need arise. **Guest failure to respect house rules and policies may result in cancellation of reservation by AIRBNB, a fee, or both. Thank you for your consideration. Guest access All adult guest must be present at time of check in to give a copy of their ID to property manager. This will only take five minutes. If ID's are not provided of all adults staying during rental period than the reservation will be cancelled at no charge to the host. For first time visitors, property manager will meet you at property when you arrive. Check in time is anytime between 4-8 pm. Please message through app with an ETA on day of arrival, at your convenience. For future visits a key code may be text to you, through the app, before 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please note that concierge services are not offered during your stay. Chris Clean Laundry is a clean state of the art facility and is only 10 miles from house. When cooking we kindly ask guest to turn on stove range hood fan, ceiling fan in kitchen and crack windows so spices and smells will diminish quickly in the house. Please close all windows afterwards so AC/heat doesn't escape house. This helps house to remain neutral in smell for all guest following your stay. Other things to note The C & O Canal Towpath is a dirt and stone path that runs 184.5 miles along the C & O Canal. Visitors can walk or bike the distance between Georgetown and Cumberland, MD. Our property is only an 8 mile drive to this popular recreational trail. The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad – 8 miles away (enjoy the Polar Express Train ride in the winter) Great Allegheny Passage (GAP), a 150-mile rail trail that begins at Canal Place in Cumberland and connects to Pittsburgh, PA is 8 miles away. The trail is a popular destination for hikers and cyclists and is the western end of a longer route to Washington, D.C., via the C&O Canal towpath.
