CDRS - Press Studio

The Estúdio da Prensa is an old wine press, inserted in the property, but with independent access. It has a kitchenette inside, equipped with the essentials and for your exclusive use. The environment is air-conditioned, comfortable throughout the year. This studio also has a small private patio in front of the entrance. It gives access to the shared pool, with stunning views of the landscape. The space Known as Casa Grande, this mid-19th century building, now restored, evokes the history of hard-working and talented people who lived there: the Cordeiro Salgado family. Enlarged by a dynamic and cultured man, the people of this remote place in the Trás-os-Montes region began to call it Casa Dr. Ramiro Salgado. From here you can contemplate an almost mystical landscape, observe the almond trees brushed with color, the wrinkles of the olive trees, which whisper in the summer afternoons of the Hot Land silently begging for a drop of water, exhale the scent of the broom in bloom, admire a rugged landscape, intersected by austere granite rocks, and be surprised by the abundance of iron ore, the unique wealth of this region of Moncorvo, while tasting a unique regional wine, and savoring the slices of bread with olive oil. You can also, in several places, follow the caress of the sun kissing the mountains, hiding beyond the crystal clear waters of the Sabor River that touches the Douro, or observe the clear and starry sky from the highest point of the house.
