Stylish cottage in Normandy with pool, sleeps 10

DESCRIPTION (about 450 characters) Welcome to Maison Particulière. A 300 m² longhouse entirely designed by an interior designer, set in 3,000 m² of enclosed garden. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 35 m² eat-in kitchen, two living rooms with fireplace and stove, and a heated saltwater pool in season. The perfect place for gatherings with family or friends, 30 minutes from Caen and 15 minutes from Argentan train station, between the Normandy countryside, markets and flea markets. The space Maison Particulière is a family home that I designed like my interior design projects: each room tells a story. Natural materials, thrifted vintage pieces, artisan ceramics and lots of light. Sleeping accommodations (10 people) Suite on the ground floor: double bed, fireplace, bathroom and private toilet Bedroom 2 (35 m²): King size bed Bedroom 3: king-size bed Bedrooms 4 and 5: double bed A large sofa bed in [room] for 2 people Baby cots available upon request For living together A 35 m² eat-in kitchen, fully equipped, with a large table for 10 Two cozy living rooms, one with a fireplace and the other with a wood-burning stove 4 bathrooms: everyone can enjoy their comfort, even with 10 people Outside 3,000 m² of flower garden, fully enclosed 7 × 3.5 m saltwater pool, heated to 29°C in season, with electric safety cover Private parking for 6 cars In winter, the house takes on a different character: fireplace fires, long tables, walks in the countryside and returning to warmth. Perfect for Christmas, New Year's or a weekend with friends. Around the house The Falaise market on Saturday mornings and the flea markets in the area Caen and its ducal castle, the villages of the Pays d'Auge The D-Day landing beaches Hiking, horse riding, golf, fishing, canoeing and kayaking Guest access The whole house and garden are yours. Check-in from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., check-out before noon. A house guide and a guide to recommended places await you at the property. Other things to note Two cats, Léon and Bibi, live in the house. They are gentle and very independent. Let us know if that's a problem. The TV is not in the living areas: request it before your arrival and we will install it. Pool: Cover to be closed after each swim and in the evening; children must always be supervised by an adult; no glass around the pool. The full rules are provided upon check-in. No pets allowed.
