There are three complete apartments, for two guests each, with the choice of a queen bed or two twins. Outdoor common areas include swimming pool, garden, terrace with grape arbor, and typical Argentine outdoor barbeque. The indoor common area includes a solarium with working fireplace. We can coordinate your tourism excursions and arrange a typical Argentine barbeque at the posada for you and your traveling companions. The space The apartments are located in a bright, safe and airy garden shared with a typical Mendoza family home. Each apartment has a private bathroom, air conditioning and heating, and a kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals if they want to. The kitchen has a microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, stove, refrigerator, cooking and eating utensils, dishes and glassware. Each apartment features original, contemporary art. We provide basics for simple breakfast in the apartment; guests also receive a voucher for Continental breakfast at a popular local café just minutes from the posada. Guest access The Posada de Rosas offers amenities that are rare, if not non-existent, in most Mendoza vacation rentals: A seasonal swimming pool surrounded by natural greenery and flowers, a bathroom for the outdoor sector, and a sitting room with fireplace and board games. Pool furniture and towels for the pool are provided. There is also a sales area where guests may purchase wine, locally produced olive oil and balsamic vinegar, knives, mate cups and other typical items. The breakfast voucher offers guests an opportunity to experience local color at nearby Café Leon. The voucher covers a Continental breakfast of coffee or tea, pastries and juice. Guests who prefer to eat in the apartment may prepare a basic breakfast with the items we provide-coffee and tea bags, sugar and sweetener, milk powder, toast, jam and butter--at no extra charge. Other cooking ingredients are available at a supermarket in the next block, and at produce vendors in nearby streets. On the premises, we offer two Mendoza experiences: One features local wine and empanadas, with live performances of tango and Argentine folklore music and dance.
