Welcome to your Clearwater getaway! This private 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom suite combines modern comforts with cozy charm. Enjoy a convenient coffee station, lounge area with TV and sofa bed, plus access to a spacious yard with a fire pit. Just a short 5-min stroll to local amenities and the stunning Wells Gray Park, waiting to be explored. Whether you’re after outdoor adventures or a tranquil retreat, we’re excited to help you create unforgettable memories while experiencing the beauty of the area. The space This ground-level unit features a luxurious king bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a tub shower, ensuring your comfort. Relax in the inviting living area, complete with a sofa bed, TV, a gas fireplace, and a coffee station equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. While we strive for a peaceful environment, you may hear occasional noise from our other guests, as we do have a second, larger suite on the property. We appreciate your understanding, and kindly ask that quiet hours begin at 10 PM. We’re excited to host you and help you make wonderful memories during your stay! Guest access The suite is your private space to enjoy! Outside, there is a nice little patio with a BBQ overlooking the large yard. There is a firepit and some lawn games which you are free to use. Outside is all shared space with us and any other guests. Other things to note Our home is conveniently located within walking distance of various amenities, including a supermarket, splash park, gift store, pet store, and several restaurants and cafes. Situated in a quiet neighborhood free from through traffic, we're just a 2-minute drive from highway 5. Exploring the natural wonders of Wells Gray Provincial Park is easy from here. The visitor center, your gateway to the park's 41 named waterfalls and deep canyons, is less than a kilometer away. Helmcken Falls, the largest waterfall in the park, is a scenic 42-kilometer drive up the park road (fully paved). If you're seeking beach days or other outdoor activities, Dutch Lake is just over 2 kilometers away where you can rent kayaks / canoes / SUPs for just $20. For biking, Candle Creek trails are a 10-minute drive up a well maintained dirt road. You can enjoy frisbee golf at the nearby ski hill. Additionally, the North Thompson River is only a 5-minute drive away, ideal for water-based activities. There's lots more to see and do of course, but we hope this information helps you navigate and enjoy the surroundings during your stay!
