The LaunchPad: clean, mod, convenient guest house

Welcome to The LaunchPad - a small, yet efficient, self-contained guest house just 3 miles from the center of downtown. It is new, comfortable, clean, and uncluttered, with just a bit of a Space Age theme. This is a perfect place for one person or a couple to kick back and relax, or to use as your base camp while exploring Portland. We welcome guests from all backgrounds, orientations, and planets. The space The Launch Pad is petite, but efficient. The brand new queen size bed has a headboard with shelves on either side, great for your books or your devices as you charge them overnight. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge, French press, and electric kettle, as well as built-in filtered water. There's a closet with hangers and plenty of hooks. The wifi is fast, and there is dedicated ethernet. The shower enclosure has a glass door. All linens and towels are 100% cotton. We keep fragrances to a minimum, and would like you to, also. Guest access Off-street parking is provided in the driveway in front of the guest house. Other things to note The Launch Pad is perfect for one person or a couple (2 guests maximum). It is a new, efficient, 280 sf space, very clean, with no clutter to get in the way of your items. There is an espresso bar directly across the street. A full-on healthy grocery store with salad bar and deli is 1 mile away. It is a very short walk to the Adidas campus and a quick drive (or bicycle) to the University of Portland. There are usually some rental bikes right across the street. A variety of restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a convenience store. A pharmacy is within a mile. PLEASE NOTE - When thinking about value for price, please know that our City, County and State taxes (plus Airbnb fee) add 30% to your total price - none of which go to the host.
