Farm Cottage's name goes a long way to painting a picture of it: one of a clutch of traditional Northumberland stone cottages set amidst rural land outside the village of Cheswick, it's every inch a welcoming refuge from the rugged landscape that envelops it. Farm Cottage’s owners have styled the cottage immaculately. However, Farm Cottage’s greatest draw is arguably the fact that it’s located less than ten minutes’ walk from one of the finest beaches in northern England, Cheswick Sands. The space Ground Floor Kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, and washing machine. Open-plan living area with wood burning stove (unlimited supply of logs), seating for four guests and dining area with seating for four guests, door to enclosed rear garden, Smart TV and wall charging ports. Hallway - multi-level (five steps down to lower level) with hanging rail. Bedroom one - master bedroom - with king size bed, side tables, fitted wardrobe and concealed dressing table. En-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower (with rainforest head), basin and WC. Bedroom two with zip and link beds which can be configured to super king or twin beds and fitted wardrobe. Family bathroom with large shower (with rainforest head), heated towel rail, basin and WC. Outside To the front of the cottage is an enclosed garden comprising gravel with outdoor seating and a small lawned area, which sits on a lower level. There is a lawned garden to rear with outside dining for four guests which is also fully enclosed. There is a log store with unlimited supply of logs and secure store for bicycles, golf clubs, etc. The walk to the beach takes approximately 8-10 minutes from Farm Cottage. This is via a single-track road leading to a small car parking area that bounds onto the sand dunes. Parking There is parking for two cars at the front of the cottage. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING For safety reasons, we do not permit electric vehicle or hybrid car charging at this property. If you’re travelling by EV, discover your nearest electric vehicle charging point here. Babies & Children A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Dogs One dog is welcome. A second dog may be considered on request. Guests are requested to clean up after dogs and keep them off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. Guest amenities Bed linen, towels and guest toiletries are provided. Hairdryers are provided in each bedroom. Wi-Fi & Mobile Coverage Wi-Fi is available. Mobile coverage can be patchy on some networks. Heating Farm Cottage has oil heating throughout which is thermostatically controlled. There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room (logs provided). Guest privacy Farm Cottage sits in a row of cottages on the track leading down to Cheswick Sands.
