You will be staying at Ferme de Combet, a former 18th-century organic farm nestled within a private 13-hectare estate. The property features two beautifully renovated houses — the Manor and the Gîte — combining historic charm with modern comfort. It also includes two barns and a 6 × 12 m swimming pool, offering a peaceful and enchanting setting for your stay. Enjoy breathtaking views from the terrace and pool over a beautiful forested valley, with absolute tranquility and no visual or noise pollution. The property can comfortably accommodate up to 25 guests (22 adults and 3 kids). Bedsheets and towels are provided, including pool towels. For groups of more than 16 people, an additional fee (15 euro per person per night) applies and will be added via Airbnb as a special offer. Historic Charm and Modern Comfort The Manor (1714) Covering approximately 220 sqm, the Manor spans two levels with two extensions. It comfortably accommodates 10 guests in its 5 bedrooms, with the option to host 4 additional guests using a sofa bed or extra mattresses. Built-in daybeds in two of the bedrooms also allow accommodation for young children during large gatherings. The Manor features a spacious 60 sqm living and dining area, a modern kitchen in the north extension, and 5 uniquely designed en-suite bedrooms located in the south extension, on the first floor, and in the basement. A large terrace with a 12 meters table is ideal for outdoor meals, long aperitifs, lunches, and late dinners, allowing all guests to gather in a beautiful open-air setting. The Gîte (1701) The Gîte offers 120 sqm over two floors, plus a 15 sqm extension. It comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults and one child. The ground floor includes a cozy living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. The first floor features three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The extension includes a second bathroom and a laundry area. Guests may also bring tents for outdoor camping. Two bathrooms — one at the Manor and one at the Gîte — are accessible from outside, ensuring comfort for all guests, including campers. Fully Equipped Kitchens Both the Manor and the Gîte feature kitchens designed for culinary enthusiasts, including a Jura coffee machine, induction cooktop, oven, microwave, wine fridge, and refrigerator with ice maker. Everything you need to cook with local ingredients, chill your wines, and enjoy ice cubes on demand is provided. Living and Dining Areas Manor The dining table seats up to 16 guests and is fully equipped. The living room offers comfortable sofas around a fireplace insert. Entertainment includes Google TV with several subscriptions available. A very large terrace with two 6-meter tables can host 24 guests or more. Gîte The dining table seats up to 10 guests. The living area includes a bar with stools overlooking the valley, a cozy seating area around an antique stove, and the same entertainment options. Outdoor Areas Each house has its own private garden. The Manor’s large terrace is perfect for outdoor dining and social moments. The shared swimming pool, located 20 m from the Manor and 100 m from the Gîte, is salt-treated and features a deck with sun loungers and umbrellas. Explore the Estate Guests are free to explore the expansive estate and the surrounding protected forest. Activities include hiking, biking (free electric bikes available), stargazing in the Black Triangle, bird and wildlife watching, and mushroom picking in the woods. Guests are welcome to enjoy trekking and biking through a network of trails and quiet roads that wind through the estate. For your convenience, 4 electric bikes are available for careful guests to borrow at no cost, offering an effortless way to explore the beautiful landscape. Barn Access and Use Ferme de Combet includes two barns. One barn is dedicated to maintenance, storage, equipment, and farm operations. This area is strictly reserved for staff and owners and is not accessible to guests for safety and operational reasons. The second barn, measuring approximately 70 sqm, has recently been renovated and may occasionally be made available for gatherings, shared meals, movie nights, sports events, seminars, or private celebrations, particularly when weather conditions do not allow outdoor activities. The space includes a large projection screen and projector, a sound system suitable for parties and events, as well as musical equipment including a piano, guitars, microphones, and other entertainment features. As this barn has specific conditions of use, availability and usage must be discussed and approved in advance. Please contact us directly if you wish to use this space during your stay. Pool Safety The pool at Ferme de Combet is a wonderful amenity for relaxation and enjoyment, but it also requires careful attention. The pool's security is managed by an alarm system, which will be demonstrated to you upon arrival by our co-hosts. Please be aware that, while we have taken measures to ensure the pool's safety, it is still important to exercise caution, especially with children and non-swimmers. For your safety, never leave children unattended around the pool. As hosts, we are committed to maintaining the safety features of the pool, but we also ask that you take responsibility for supervising those in your party while using this facility. While we strive to provide a safe environment, guests remain responsible for following all safety instructions provided during their stay. If you have any concerns or need further assistance, our team is here to help. Other things to note Our property is perfect for large gatherings, family reunions, or special occasions, as it can comfortably accommodate up to 25 guests indoors. For groups exceeding 16 guests, there is an additional charge of €15 per guest per night. This fee helps cover the costs associated with hosting additional guests, including extra bedding, increased utility usage (water, electricity, etc.), and additional cleaning required to maintain our high standards of comfort and cleanliness. For young children (up to 3 years old) sleeping with their parents, the stay is free of charge. ⚡ Electric Vehicles Charging electric vehicles on the property is not permitted unless prior approval has been obtained from the host or the concierge. Please contact us in advance to discuss possible arrangements. Outdoor Accommodation Options For even larger groups, it is possible to set up tents on the property grounds. Two bathrooms are easily accessible from outside to ensure comfort for guests staying in tents. Additional costs for outdoor accommodation depend on the setup and number of guests. Please contact us before booking to confirm your group size and discuss any specific needs. 🗑️ Waste Management at the Farm To help us maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment, we kindly ask all guests to follow these guidelines: ♻️ Composting A compost bucket is available in each kitchen for fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and other compostable waste. Please empty it in the designated compost area behind the small barn. 🔄 Recycling All recyclable items (paper, cardboard, plastic, metal packaging) should be placed in the large bin under the kitchen sink. When full, please take them to the Le Bouyssou trash station using the yellow-lid containers. ✅ Please ensure all recycling bins are emptied before departure. 🍾 Glass Glass must be sorted separately. Please collect bottles and jars in a bag or box and drop them off at the glass container at the Le Bouyssou trash station. 🗑️ Non-Recyclable Waste Smaller bins under the sinks are provided.
