The walls are adorned with stunning centuries-old frescoes, and an impressive trumeau crowns the stone fireplace. Antique oak windows offer a picturesque view of the rolling hills of Naves. Le Boudoir is the perfect retreat to unwind and explore the rich history of the Auvergne region. The luxurious, spacious, and fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need, whether you're preparing a simple snack or a gourmet meal. A cozy dining area with a round table is framed by a large bookcase filled with reading material, perfect for a relaxing evening. Unwind by the stone fireplace, beneath the beautifully decorated trumeau, on a comfortable leather sofa. The charming bedroom and bathroom carry the same historical ambiance, with centuries-old frescoes gracing the walls. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, ample storage space for clothing, and an elegant sofa. The en-suite bathroom includes a refreshing rain shower for a rejuvenating start to your day. Outside, the 500-year-old courtyard invites you to enjoy a drink among the roses or relax in the hammock in the back garden under the almond trees. Towels and bed linen are provided, and free WiFi is available. Le Boudoir de Boirot is located in Naves, an authentic and picturesque French village nestled in the stunning Auvergne landscape. Ancient paths, walked for centuries, lead you through the village, which is terraced over the hills. The charming washhouses, ruins of a medieval fortress, and beautiful hiking trails make Naves a hidden gem well worth discovering. The region offers much to explore, including the medieval town of Charroux, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and the impressive cliffs along the Sioule River, perfect for swimming or canoeing. Visit the vineyards of Saint-Pourçain or the spa town of Vichy, famous for its beautiful architecture. The nearby A71 motorway provides quick and easy access to Clermont-Ferrand and the volcanoes of the Puy de Dôme. Naves is the perfect base to discover the region! Guest access The two gîtes have a shared main entrance and hallway, which remain accessible at all times. Guests can lock the doors to their respective gîtes for privacy. Feel free to enjoy the flowers in the courtyard or take in the scenery from our lush little garden behind the house. Parking is available along the roadside just outside the property gates. Other things to note Our dog Frietje and our cats Maupie and Grover share the property with us. They are very friendly and affectionate, though they can be quite curious and enjoy exploring every nook and cranny. Please keep an eye on open doors and windows, and avoid leaving food unattended.
