Luxury Tipi in private nature reserve

Nestled on the top of a cliff overlooking the Wye Valley in 5 acres of private woodlands sits the brand new Pen Moel Tipi. It's complete privacy with its own wood-fired hot tub that also overlooks the cliff. Probably one of the best located hot tubs in the country. There's an outdoor kitchen and an open fire to cook on, a private shower block and a composting toilet. It's really build for two, but could accommodate 4. It's not suitable for young kids because of the 300 ft cliffs. The space There is just the one tipi up in the woods so you get all the facilities to yourself. It’s an incredibly comfortable full cast iron double bed but we can get 4 singles up there or the double plus a couple of camping singles. The kitchen is pretty fully equipped with the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment you might need. It has 2 gas hobs and a cool box. There is also an open fire with a big cast iron grate for fire cooking if you prefer. The shower, kitchen and sink have running hot water. And the cold is all drinkable. It is a bit of a walk up the hill through the forest. But it’s a lovely one since it winds through the old Victorian pathways. Much of the proceeds of this are going towards restoring the long lost former glory of these estate woodlands. They are part of the gardens of the rather eccentric Arts and Crafts main house but have been completely overrun with invasive laurels. We are slowly putting back the old pathways and staircases that wind right down to the river wye. Guest access You are free to wander anywhere in the forest and down to the nature reserve. From there you can continue on for miles down the wye valley in some of the most spectacular parts of the river
