Fern Sanctuary named for our dog Fern! Great for any season, take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Rural country neighborhood, centrally located in Southern New Hampshire. 20+/-min to Concord, Manchester Airport, St. Anselms College, New England College, Pat's Peak or Crotched Mountain ski areas. Head north to the lakes region, west to Mt. Sunapee, or south to visit Boston, all within an hour drive. Many trails accessible right from the suite. The space Message for a Property video! Convenient and centrally located in Southern New Hampshire The guest suite is above our garage. The space: - Have a peaceful stay in your own comfortable and private guest suite, located above our garage. The best neighborhood in a town that has no bad neighborhoods. Peaceful and safe, located in the wooded hills of our quaint New Hampshire town. The Suite: - Bright and airy with a private keypad entrance. - Bedroom: Private with a thick comfy memory foam bed, large window with lots of light but light blocking shades. View the peaceful, wooded lot. - Back door off the living area leads to a private deck with chairs and table. - Air conditioning, heat, hot water, Steaming TV, WiFi Internet. - Comfortable living room with sofa, TV, chairs dinette and tables. - Wetbar are contains a refrigerator, microwave, crock pot, toaster, coffee machine, counter with sink. - Cabinets stocked with dishes, silverware and some additional basics & a two-person dinette. - Bathroom is new, clean and stocked with guest towels, shower & hair dryer. - The Property has 1 parking spot. Shared use of large green lawn, stone fire pit and outside chairs. - You can park to the left of the garage and the stairs to the door are just behind the garage. There are motion activated lights in front of the garage, beside and behind the garage and there is a light sensitive light on the deck will will stay on during any dark times automatically. - The New Boston Rail Trail begins at either the fairgrounds or Gregg Mill Rd (Lang Station) and it goes all the way to New Boston Center or Goffstown. Also, The Goffstown Rail Trail is 2.5 miles away with road markings to connect from New Boston Rail Trail. There are many hiking trails in the area and maps are provided. Guest access Keypad entry with private entrance from the private deck behind the garage. Other things to note Winter Season Skiing - Short 20 minutes to Pat’s Peak, 30 minutes to Crotched Mountain or 45 minutes to Mount Sunapee Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking on the Rail Trail or other local trails. Spring, Summer and Fall Enjoy our friendly country town - Cycle 5 miles along the Beautiful and scenic Piscataqua River to New Boston Village and Dodge’s vintage General Store. Be sure to stop at and get some freshly squeezed lemonade at the Farmers Market (every Saturday morning June through October). Sample the local veggies, cheese, honey, kettle corn and NH Maple Syrup. Within 5 minutes - Stonebridge Country Club/golfing - Goffstown Village (local dining and shopping) - Hiking trails, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, blueberry picking - Just Like Mom's Bakery (voted NH's best Whoopie Pies and Baked Pies) - Davis Scenic Parkway - Piscataquog River - Hillsborough 4H Fairgrounds (location of concerts, fairs and events) -Mt Uncanoonuc in Goffstown, climb the old Cograil Road Within 10 minutes - Everett Dam/Clough State Park (walkway across the top of the Dam, long hiking trails, picnicking, kayak and canoe rentals) - New Boston Center (Dodge's Country Store) - Molly Tavern (live music on weekends) - Northeast Cafe (cafe on the river) Have breakfast or lunch at the Northeast Cafe then pick up the hiking trail at the Mill Pond Conservation Area nearby. Within 25 minutes - St Anselms College - New England College - LaBelle Vineyard - Bedford Village Inn - Manchester - Concord Seasonal Events - New Hampshire Craftsman Fair (Sunapee) - New Hampshire Motor Speedway, (Loudon) - Zip-lining (Sunapee) - New Boston Farmer's Market (Saturday's April through October) - Giant pumpkin contest in Goffstown (October) - Lakes region just 45 minutes north - Boston just 60 minutes south during non peak traffic hours or take the —-BostonExpress bus from Exit 5 off Route 93 to South Station. From South Station walk the Rose Kennedy Greenway to Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, The North End, Chinatown, Boston Common, Aquarium and the Seaport District.
