Mantua Lake House

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful abode. Just five minutes from the freeway makes it very assessable in inclement weather. The Lake House is about an hour from Salt Lake and nestled right in between Logan and Ogden, which makes this location perfect! This beautiful farmhouse style Lake House is a five minute walk to the reservoir. The reservoir makes for a fun day boating, fishing, or kayaking. In the winter months it’s great for ice skating or ice fishing. The space The reservoir is just a short ten minute walk down the street and around the corner. An added bonus is that the reservoir is shaped like a heart to make it even that much more special. Beaches run along the southwest side of the reservoir., with a dock and boat launch ramp. There is a road along the dike that goes around the entire reservoir. This is approximately 5 miles. It’s very enjoyable to ride bikes, walk or run around the path. There are beautiful views and eagles that live in the trees up above mile four. This is the perfect location whether you have a small or large group. With two bedrooms (a king bed, and queen bed) and fold out cots along with sofa beds on the loft, your large group will be sure to find the comfort you need. We welcome families that have littles too. We have a pack-n-play baby bed. We keep a high chair in closet in the laundry room. You’ll also find extra tables and chairs in that closet for large groups. Four bathrooms are a special bonus for large groups. The main bath has a large jetted tub to relax in after a full day of adventure! The master bath has a shower and large tub, and the bathroom upstairs has two sinks plus a tub and shower. You’ll all find a place to relax in a “hot” tub! In this little country town, you’ll be sure to find the peace you are looking for! Guest access There is so much parking on this property along with two RV hook ups. This special feature makes it nice for large groups and family reunions. The farmhouse has two entrances, a side door and the front door. Other things to note We have lots of games, books, crocheting yarn and hooks, ice skates of all sizes, sleds, snow pants, and gloves available for winter getaway’s. For summer fun at the beach, we have a picnic basket, fishing poles, and sand toys for your use. There is a butter churn for anyone that wants to make butter. Just pour in your favorite heavy cream. Turn the crank and watch it form a ball of butter. Work out all the liquid whey, add some salt and melt it over your warm pancakes or just whatever!
