Kick back and relax at our unique and secluded lodge, nestled in nature. Cosy up next to the wood burning stove and look out to the meadow that surrounds you, a guarantee of peace and privacy. Keen to keep our environmental footprint low, Laity Lodge was lovingly handcrafted using up-cycled materials from our farmhouse renovations, boasting character and charm at every inch. Just a 5 minute drive from the stunning Portreath Beach and North Cliffs, a true Cornish getaway awaits. The space With a wood burning stove that doubles as an oven, single gas hob reclaimed from a boat, Nespresso coffee machine and comfy elevated double bed, Laity Lodge is the perfect remedy to switch off from normal life. The outside space boasts a lovely undercover decking area with al fresco seating, gas bbq & an oversized paella pan - perfect for cooking up a yummy meal and watching the sun set over the meadow. The lodge is set just off the main road to Portreath but tucked away beside a stream running alongside our peaceful meadow. If you’re lucky you might even see the deer that regularly pay a visit. Guest access Park on our driveway and then take a scenic walk (5 mins max) past our friendly chickens following the stream that opens up to the meadow. Please take care when making your way down the slope past the chickens. Walking boots/ wellies are advised as the track to the lodge can get muddy in bad weather. Other things to note There is no Wifi, allowing you to fully switch off and enjoy the peace and tranquility Laity Lodge has to offer. We have a friendly collie, Nala, who might like to say hello during your stay. Please let us know if this will be an issue.
