Hunters Villa Farm Stay

You will relax from the moment you arrive at this special quiet rural setting. Surrounded by totora trees and bird song, the views from every room bring you close to nature. Cable Bay Beach is just 10 minutes away, take a dip or have a coffee. Cable Bay Mountain Bike Park is right on our doorstep, a family friendly park and cafe. We are 15 minutes drive north of Nelson, head into the city to explore the attractions and restaurants or explore the beautiful Tasman region. The space This is a beautiful peaceful space with two large bedrooms. You will sleep soundly as it is so quite here in the country and the beds are very snug. The windows are all double glazed keeping the space warm and quiet. The bathroom is spacious with both a bath and shower which look out onto stunning native bush. Underfloor heating in this space. There is a separate toilet. The kitchenet is in a separate room which has tea, coffee, milk and herbal drinks and cereal for breakfast. There is also a toaster and jug. Chilled water will be in the fridge along with room for your wine and cheese. There is a microwave and utensils. You will also find reading material, local booklets and games. The villa is attached to our farm house but is self contained and secure. With gorgeous valley views this will certainly be a special countryside getaway. There are several walks in the area including the Cable Bay Walkway and The Cable Bay Adventure Park who also offer walks and mountain biking tracks. We have tennis courts locally and a dairy. A perfect spot for star gazing, the night sky is stunning, no city lights in this neck of the woods. Deck chairs are provided and a picnic blanket, you are welcome to find a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your time at Hunters Villa. Guest access The villa is situated just under one kilometer from the start of Cable Bay Road in Hira. Set within tall totora trees, parking is all on one level with easy access to the property. There is one step up into the property where there are double opening doors under a veranda. You will gain access to the property using a locked box (details to be confirmed) Other things to note Staying in Hira it is a two minute bike ride or drive to the Cable Bay Adventure Park, where you can mountain bike, walk, visit the cafe and relax in the valley. Cable Bay Beach and Cafe is only a 10 minute drive where there is now a wood fire sauna overlooking the beach. Open Friday to Sunday. Or you might like to enjoy a trip to the beautiful Able Tasman Nation Park with its white sand and stunning beaches. The Tasman area also has bouquet wineries, cafes and craft trails.
