Nestled in the small village of Wilcot surrounded by the Kennet and Avon canal, our log cabin offers a warm and relaxing romantic weekend away with the partner or a relaxing break with the family or the dogs, enjoy the warm log burner or a dip in the hot tub, we are surrounded by fields in a small village, 1.8 miles away from Pewsey, our local public house offers a warm welcome relaxing refresher closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We are in the middle of Wiltshire’s many historical sites. The space Bumbles cabin is a self contained, 1 bedroom log cabin, a perfect romantic get away or break with the kids as the pull out sofa can accommodate 2 adults or 2 children. You will find an extra duvet and pillows under the sofa. (Please note there is a step to get into the cabin) You will receive a message 2 days prior to your check in to confirm the location and lockbox pin for your check in. Check in is from 3:00pm and check out is before 10:00am There is an early check in fee from £10.00 per hour and a late check out fee from £10.00 per hour. Please note to confirm an early check in/ late check out this needs to be confirmed and paid 48 hours prior to your stay subject to availability. We do not allow same day alterations. The Living area: Living area with pullout sofa, smart TV with Netflix, dinning table, complete with a log burner for the chillier evenings. ⚠️ A charge of £6.00 will be added to your stay if the logs, kindling and fire lighters are used during your stay these are added but not free. The Bedroom: 1 master bedroom with a double bed, dresser and space for clothing. The bathroom: The bathroom with storage space hosts a step in shower, 2 towels and 2 hand towels provided. (You may wish to bring extra for the Hot Tub). The kitchen: Kitchen along with all the essential needs, fire blanket provided, washing machine, cooker and microwave. The garden: There is a gated gravel driveway for you to park (please do not use the car park) with a spacious inclosed garden for you to enjoy along with seating to enjoy the English summer. The gates have a 10cm gap to keep in mind for any smaller dogs. The best bit: The 5 man Hot-Tub is open all year round with no additional charge open hours are 8:00-22:00 Hot tub rules as follows: ❌ No food or eating in the hot tub. ❌ No smoking/vaping in or around the hot tub. ❌No glass,cans or china in or around the hot tub. Plastic flutes are provided. ❌No pets in the hot tub ❌ In the case of fake tan we unfortunately cannot permit permission for you to use the hot tub as this causes complications for our following guests (this is non refundable) ❌ you must shower before and after using the hot tub body oils and dander causes issues for following guests. ❌ Please do not change the heat settings, the jets, lights and blower buttons are clear. ✅ Feel free to bring your own robes and towels to use. ✅ Shower before and after use of the hot tub. ✅ Please remove the chlorine floater before you enjoy your spa. We wish for all of our guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable experience, unlike some hot tub rentals we don’t charge for the use of the hot tub. We dip test our hot tub between guests to keep the levels safe for our guests. ⚠️However, if the rules are not abided to there is a charge of £150.00-£300.00 depending on the damage to the water levels. Hot tubs are very temperamental and we ask you follow the rules to keep the hot tub clean and safe for everyone. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join us on your stay, at a charge of £25.00 a maximum of 2 dogs. Our time hosting pooches has so far been positive however we now have rules to abide to: ❌ No pets on any furniture bed or sofa, feel free you bring your dogs bedding with you. ❌ Please do not leave dog mess in the garden. ❌Dogs are Not permitted in the hot tub! Yes as crazy as it sounds it’s happened. ❌please don’t allow your dog to dig in the garden. Any damages caused by your pet will be chargeable to you as the owner. We really do want everyone to enjoy there stay and hate having so many rules but the past 2 years have unfortunately made us adjust or rules for our guests overall experience. Only a 15-minute drive away. 🐝West Kennet long barrow free to visit one of the largest most impressive and most assessable Neolithic chambered tombs in Britain 16-minute drive away worth a trip while you are taking in the sights of Silbury Hill. 🐝Avebury stone circle free to visit the greatest marvels of prehistoric Britain, it is a beautiful walk, nestled around the stones is The lion inn which is said to be one of the most haunted pubs in England 20 minutes drive away. 🐝Stonehenge one of the worlds most famous places a 5,500-year-old man made exhibition. Within a 30-minute drive. Other areas close by: 🐝Devizes: 20 minutes 🐝Swindon: 35 minutes 🐝Salisbury: 44 minutes 🐝Pewsey train station with direct lines to London.
