Hoxly Hideaway: The Knoll Bunkie w/hot tub

Welcome to The Knoll Bunkie at Hoxly Hideaway! It is one of two shed-style tiny homes with its own hot tub, located in the heart of Elgin, NB. Open year-round, enjoy peace and privacy only steps from the Elgin Eco Park, hiking & cycling trails, ATV and snowmobiling trails, the Pollett River, and much much more. Relax and unwind in this cozy & quaint space, whether you've spent the day on the trails or are looking for a unique getaway. The space The property consists of two 10x30 unique tiny homes situated on 5 acres of land right off the main road in the heart of Elgin. This unit has beautiful field & tree views with lots of wildlife sightings, small & large, and is the more favourable unit for pets with the expansive field out front. Outside on the deck just steps from the door, there is a hot tub to unwind in, a seating area, BBQ, and three seasons outdoor shower (not operating in the winter). Completing the outdoor space is a firepit area (wood provided). Inside this studio style lay-out, you will find a well equipped kitchenette complete with an apartment sized fridge (with freezer), double cooktop burner, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, kettle, and Keurig (complimentary coffee & tea pods, tea bags, sugar, hot chocolate, and milk & cream are provided). Everything else needed for cooking is right at your fingertips! There is a small dining table for two, complete with a cozy seating area with love seat. This is a great space for board games, cards, a movie night, or to put your feet up and relax. Have a great night's sleep in the luxurious and cozy bed, with beautiful views from the big picture window overlooking the field. Enjoy the three piece bath during your stay with all the amenities provided as well as heated porcelain floors for comfort. You can also access the outside shower & hot tub through the bathroom. If you are not a fan of full sun, this bunkie is East facing and offers more shade than "The Grove bunkie". Guest access Guests have full access to the tiny home. We ask that you stay to the section of the field directly in front of the bunkie if out with your dog so as not to disturb guests in the other bunkie. (In "Exterior" photos, there is an aerial picture showing you the boundaries). Other things to note Please let us know if your pet will be with you. The property is on the main road in Elgin. Cleaning fee: In order to keep our rate reasonable we do not charge a cleaning fee but do ask for general tidying. Please no cooking of shellfish or fish in the bunkie as a staff member is very allergic. Thank you! Fires: From April to November there can be fire bans. Please check the NB Forest Fire Watch (GNB website) for daily restrictions. Their website updates daily at 2pm. Fireworks: Not permitted. Exploring: Please be cautious of your GPS if coming to or from Fundy National Park/Alma. It may take you on back roads that are only meant for 4x4 vehicles and areas where there is no cell service. Pets: Please clean up after your furry friend, it would be much appreciated! The property is an old family homestead so there may be small shards of glass around.
