Enjoy a relaxing, family friendly stay on the shores of Lake Owen. Our family owned resort is situated on the southern end of the lake, just four miles from Cable. Lake Owen boasts crystal clear waters and is listed as healthiest of Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest surrounds most of the lake, limiting shoreline development and offering the finest fishing and recreational entertainment. The space We are nestled deep in the heart of the Northwoods, just 50 minutes south of Lake Superior and 5 minutes from Cable. In our quaint town you can find shopping, delicious coffee, handmade pizza, homemade pies, and other dining experiences including Wisconsin’s traditional Friday night fish fry’s. The Cable Area is also surrounded by miles of public biking, hiking, and ATV trails. Whether you are looking to adventure out or cozy in we are here to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Guest access The Sister Bay Getaway has 2 bedrooms, featuring 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, a full bathroom with a shower tub, full kitchen with an oven range, sink, microwave, coffee pot, and full-size refrigerator. Our comfortable living room has 1 couch, 2 arm chairs, an electric fireplace, and flat screen tv. Outside, guests have a charcoal grill, portable firepit, and small sitting area overlooking Lake Owen. We have a large, free parking lot conveniently located close to where you will be staying. The Sister Bay Getaway is located half way between the parking lot and the lake, down a well-lit stairway.
