The Weaver's house, with a rectangular plan, is composed of a ground floor and a first floor, as well as an attic. This habitable place is currently being developed by the designer Matali Crasset, in cooperation with the cabinetmaker Jonas Wauthy, to offer a unique and warm space. Insta: @lamainsondutisserand The space Architectural Features: - Ground floor: Historically, this space housed the weaver's workshop, while the dwelling was upstairs. - Floor (steep staircase with a handrail): Intended for the bedroom, offering exceptional views of romantic Brittany. - Attic: Additional bedroom. - Modillion cornice: Decorative and architectural element characteristic of the time. - Historical use: The 17th century building is constructed of blond granite rubble and ashlar. The ground floor housed the weaver's workshop, his dwelling being upstairs. A modillion cornice is present. The building probably served as a pantry in the 19th century, the stone jambs of the door having been hollowed out to allow the passage of barrels.
