Stay on Exmoor with stunning views - The Shippen

A thousand feet above sea level, close to some of Exmoor's most stunning locations, our lovely home has sweeping views of the Barle Valley towards Tarr Steps. Ponies, horses and red deer live in the surrounding fields while freerange chickens roam the road. The glorious hillside walk to Tarr Steps is about an hour and amazing Exmoor riversidewalks are a 5 minute drive away...as is the glorious sweep of Winsford Hill and sunsets over the moor. EV charging available. The space The Shippen offers views over the valley and hillside walks along Draydon Lane, with views of ponies, deer and freerange hens. Sit at the garden table enjoying the wild birds, Exmoor ponies and stunning views. There is EV charging. There is a double bed, a single bed, a pull out mattress in the second bedroom and in the lounge/kichen area a sofabed. Close to the picturesque town of Dulverton - with many facilities - and the stunningly pretty village of Winsford. The Exmoor Pony Centre and its visitor centre is a short walk away. Guest access It's all yours for your stay. The back garden is a communal, enclosed garden, accessed down the lane and suitable for allowing dogs off the lead. Other things to note Type 2 electric vehicle charging is accessed through the Go Zero app. Dogs are welcome but should be well controlled (and there is a supplementary charge). The area is peaceful but there are free range hens on the road and the occasional passing vehicle.
