Nestled on 10 acres in Gembrook, this private barn is spacious & exudes rustic charm. Within an hour's drive of Melbourne, you'll stay amongst gums where the birdsong is often the only sounds you'll hear. Native wildlife is abundant and often passing through. The township of Gembrook is only a 5 minute drive & boasts fine dining at the Independent, cafes, and more. Puffing Billy is a regular visitor to the railway station. Free cooked breakfast inc in your stay. The space The barn is lined with over 5.5 km of pine lining boards there are also rock walls inside the living area with a flat coloured tv and ceiling fan. The barn is decorated in antiques from yesteryear. It has Cyprus kitchen and a large Cyprus stair case to access the mezzanine bedroom of 4x 16m. The ceiling in the lounge room is 6m high. There is also an outside picnic table and bbq area… it’s a very private space quiet and calm. Guest access When you choose to stay in our barn you have the entire building to yourselves private under cover parking for 2 vehicles. It has a bedroom up stairs with a queen bed and 2 more bedrooms down stairs. It has a full kitchen with pots and pans a full size electric stove and electric hot plates. It has a pool table and dart board with other games available also. It has a solid wood fire heater for cooler months and a split system air conditioner for the warmer ones… you will be very comfortable in our barn is is over 30squares in size. Other things to note Being a qualified baker with 40 years of making every kind of bread and cake you can imagine. Don’t be surprised if u get a nock on the door with a plate of cup cakes hot cross buns slices or what ever I feel like making at the time….. we feel our place is extremely good value as a fully cooked breakfast bacon eggs baked beans, home made bread as toast is inc in your stay. As well as a litre of full cream milk and a litre of orange juice.
