CANTO DO TIÊ is an intimate chalet for couples seeking romance and rest in the midst of nature, with easy access and close to downtown São Francisco Xavier. Its total area is 80m2. The chalet has integrated environments, all with views of the landscape. We accommodate up to 2 guests. The space THE CHALET: - 1 Integrated bedroom with queen size bed and fireplace - Complete and well-equipped mini-kitchen - Private double shower overlooking the forest - 1 bathroom - Furnished suspended deck - Masonry hot tub - Covered outdoor area, with table and chair for meals - Outdoor area with space for hammocks and fire pit - Masonry barbecue, covered and with a countertop - Private parking with 1 garage space - Outdoor shower We offer a private experience, but with the assurance that if you need anything, we'll be around. ACCESS: We are located near the center of São Francisco Xavier (5 km away). Access to the chalet is safe, with a road in good condition and semi-paved. Inside the site, the roads are paved. The chalet is part of the Sítio Arte da Terra, where the hosts live. However, it is at a considerable distance, which guarantees total privacy, including an independent entrance. Signposts make it easier to get to the chalet. Important: No 4x4 car required. We provide pots for water and food, as well as towels for your pet's comfort. ⚠️ Important: The chalet has a more compact space, which may not be ideal for very large pets. Assess your pet's comfort prior to booking. COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS We offer some complimentary items to make your stay easier. Information signs allow the guest to do it without the need for a guide. The ecotrail has three circuits: 1) Botanical - with information about the Atlantic Forest and identification of botanical species. 2) Historical - tells the story from the arrival of the muleteers in SFX until its transformation into a tourist town, emphasizing the origin of the welcoming and joyful spirit of its population. 3) Meditative - a hike along the trail. Guided by signs that induce meditation and the search for our own self, the trail is a journey for self-knowledge and reflection. The trail is free and accessible to the elderly, children and pets. Through the trail, you access the Mirante (Overlook), which offers a surprising view of practically 360 degrees of the Mantiqueira mountains. ● Lookout with kiosk: Part of our trail, the Lookout is a place for rest, immersion in nature, recreation and more. In this space, you will find a large kiosk with a table, sink and bathroom for picnics. We provide a basket, towel and basic utensils to collaborate with your picnic, without the inclusion of food. Access is easy and safe for the elderly, pets and children. ● Lake: The lake gives a special touch to the place and the large green area helps you relax and enjoy days of tranquility in this beautiful space. Breakfast ● basket: You can purchase a basket with selected products for a delicious breakfast basket. It will be delivered to your door shortly after your arrival. The value of this basket is not included in the daily rate. ● Delivery: due to the easy access, it is possible to order meals by delivery. There are several options for restaurants and pizzerias. EXTENSIVE CONTACT WITH NATURE Our site is surrounded by the Mantiqueira mountains and has a significant area of Atlantic Forest, with native and secondary species, and more than 3,000 reforestation trees. Fields of ipe trees and roads lined with Neves da Montanha are part of this ecological paradise. SFX is a bird watching point. It's no wonder we've given bird names to our houses. From our balconies, you can see the mountains of Monte Verde. The water comes from our spring but the site has no waterfall. We can point out several of them in nearby locations, if there is interest. BASIC HOUSE RULES: - Do not make excessive noise from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. - No smoking and no parties in the house - Do not receive visitors without our authorization GUEST SUPPORT After the reservation is confirmed, we'll contact you and send you some links with information about the house, the site, the breakfast basket, the trail circuits and more. In addition, we will always be available for other information. Guest access The cottage is part of the Sítio Arte da Terra, where the hosts live. However, it is in a totally private area, including its own parking lot. The gatehouse is on the main road that goes to Joanópolis, which means easy access even in rainy weather and with vehicles other than 4x4s. Inside the site, all roads are paved. Check-in is free and, therefore, the guest can directly access the chalet without any bureaucracy. Just keep in touch with hosts via cell phone. Other things to note Free check-in and check-out with flexible hours, according to the availability of dates and the reservation schedule. Pet friendly - we leave proper containers for food and water. We ask that you contact the hosts if you plan to bring more than one pet and a large one. We always leave basic cleaning products as well as basic kitchen items as a courtesy. In addition, we leave alcohol for the fireplace, charcoal and firewood for the fire pit. The trail, lake, nursery and gallery are available for visiting. Our wifi is from Starlink, which has guaranteed uninterrupted and good quality internet even in rural areas. In rainy seasons, as in any rural area, electricity can sometimes be interrupted by trees. The houses have emergency lighting (no generator of their own). We again highlight the proximity to the center (approximately 8 to 10 minutes) and the ease of access with any vehicle, even in the rain.
