Glamping on a private island
Glamping on a private island
Description
Glamping tenting experience on a private island in eastern Åland. The almost untouched 3-hectare island offers a wonderful setting for a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature. In addition to the tent, the island has two cottages, a wood-fired beach sauna and a barbecue hut for 8 people. In one of the cottages, there is a shared kitchen for guests with a refrigerator for cold storage and a gas stove for cooking. There is also a charcoal grill on the terrace. The space The glamping tent is 3m high and 5m in diameter. There is a 180 cm wide double bed, and if necessary, it can accommodate two extra mattresses, allowing for up to 4 people to stay overnight. The tent overlooks a magnificent sea view from the top of the cliff. The entrance to the tent is to the east, so you'll get a lovely morning sun to wake you up to a new day. Guest access I'll take the guests to the island in my boat and pick them up. These boat trips are included in the price of the overnight stay. Extra boat trips for an additional fee. The boat trip takes about 20 minutes. Weather conditions in the outer archipelago can affect access to the island. If the wind is strong, we may have to reschedule the check-in or check-out time. You can also arrive by your own boat! Our dock can accommodate up to 2 10-meter boats at the same time. There are 2 cottages and 1 glamping tent on the island, so during your visit there may be other guests on the island or we may be there with our family. Other things to note Bring your own food, there is no restaurant, shop or other food services on the island. The nearest store is in the village of Brändö. There are a lot of animals on the island, you may see a dragonfly, mink, sea eagle or even a moose swimming! In the autumn, a lot of small moon jellyfish swim in our clear waters. Jellyfish are not dangerous and you can swim near them. We have a first aid kit and each cottage has a first aid kit. There is no running water on the island, and no electricity. Do not throw seawater into the sauna stove, as the stove will rust from the salt water. Jumping from the cliffs into the sea is forbidden, the area is very rocky and the surrounding waters have not been dived to explore the rocks below the surface. All the island's accommodations are non-smoking.
