Inviting room in Cotswold cottage

Take it easy at this conveniently located, unique and tranquil Cotswold getaway in the picturesque market town of Northleach. Tucked away in a secluded lane at the edge of the historic town centre, five minutes walk away from a variety of shops, cafes, gastropubs and a great wine bar. This large double room is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beautiful Cotswolds and boasts plenty of idyllic local walks on the doorstep. The space My cottage is over 300 years old and is stylishly decorated inside with traditional, period features including deep set windows, freestanding bath, exposed Cotswold stone brickwork and timber beam ceilings. The room is large with a vaulted ceiling. You will enjoy a comfortable and sunny double bed, with a large cosy armchair to relax in. It is located on the second floor that you access via a winding staircase. The shared bathroom has a large corner shower and freestanding bath. It is located on the first floor. Guest access The cottage is shared with me and my indoor kitten Ziggy. You will have access to the bedroom and the shared bathroom. There is complimentary tea, coffee and milk, with mugs in the kitchen, for you to help yourself. No cooking is permitted although you can use the microwave to heat up a meal. Please consume it (and any other food) at the dining table and not in the bedroom. Space can be made in the kitchen fridge if needed. The living room is for my personal use only. I hope you will find your large bedroom comfortable to relax in. You have the use of a large armchair as well as a double bed. It's a 'shoes off' cottage! You are welcome to leave your footwear in the porch. For any muddy footwear (including hiking boots and wellies) you are welcome to leave them in the studio / store opposite the cottage. You can also use it to dry any wet coats / waterproofs there. If you wish to bring a bike with you, you can store it in the studio / store. The only allocated parking space is in use by myself so please park on the main road where there is usually plenty of free on street parking, with no time restrictions. Thank you for being considerate of my neighbours. Other things to note Both stairs to the first floor and second floor have some low beams so do be mindful not to bump you head if you are tall! As with many old character properties, the floor is uneven in parts of the bedroom. Due to the sloping roof in the bedroom (as seen in the pictures) there is restricted headroom on the side of the bed nearest to the wall. The room and shared spaces are not suitable for children.
