The wood creaks, the birds sing, the wind makes the leaves dance, the deer bellows in the heart of the night. We take the time to look, to taste, to feel, to just be there. During your stay La Folie Douce was born out of a love at first sight for a 1900 building, a little sleepy but full of character and promises. For several years, we have been patiently renovating it, step by step, with our hands, our energy, and our passion. Here, every stone, every beam, every floor tells a part of this adventure. We have imagined, restored, and shaped everything ourselves, respecting the soul of the house. Nothing has been done in a hurry: everything has been built over time, with attention and the pleasure of a job well done. The furniture and decoration have been collected from flea markets, encounters, and discoveries. Each piece is unique, full of history, marked by the past, and reinvented for a new life. La Folie Douce is neither smooth nor standardised. It is a vintage, lively, imperfect, and warm house. A reflection of our history, our tastes, and our way of life. By pushing its door, you enter a place shaped with heart, where every detail tells a piece of our journey.
