You will enjoy the entire house to yourselves (minus our office which will be locked). The house is in a great place to relax, you can cook to your heart’s content or just chill in front of the wood burner (October to February). Located in a peaceful spot in a horseshoe-like road walkers have access to the Southwell Trail which runs for 7 miles. It’s appx a 15 minute walk to town centre which boasts many quaint shops and horse lovers can reach the Southwell Racecourse by foot along the trail. The space We’re loaning you our home. *Sleeps 5 comfortably or 6 cozily. Set over 2 stories we live in a quiet 'corner' of a looped road meaning no other vehicles come through here unless they are intended for our area, for example:- our neighbours and delivery services. Downstairs You will enjoy a welcoming open living front room and kitchen with a 6 bench island to enjoy your meals together. This open living allows the whole family to spend time together while preparing meals, playing games, watching tv, etc. In the front room area you have a double sofa-bed that comfortably sleeps two. If you intend to use the log burner we ask that you designate this bed for adults or responsible children who will not unintentionally get burned without supervision. You will have access to all the general tv apps, but we do ask that you log on to your own accounts. For convenience there is a downstairs toilet. Upstairs - Bedroom 1 You will find a king size bed in the master bedroom (bedding and 2 bath sheets / towels are automatically included in your booking). Upstairs - Bedroom 2 When requested in advance the sofa-bed can be made up for you in the second bedroom (additional fees for bedding and additional towels are detailed further down). This is a small double sofa-bed. It may be best for one guest, but could fit 2 if you like to snuggle (it will be cozy). Upstairs Bathroom & Toilet Additionally there is an upstairs toilet and separate bathroom (per the photographs in our listing). Back Garden In the back garden you will find a swing seat and pond. We ask that you enjoy the garden as much as you like, but try to avoid going passed the greenhouse as our work materials (broken pallets, other wood etc...) are kept behind this area. Front Garden Across the road from us is a small alley (aligned with tall hedges). This leads to a field with a small children's playground and access to the Southwell Trail which goes about 7 miles to the left (heading towards Farnsfield) or 1 mile to the right ending at the Final Whistle pub - a convenient stop for a drink if you enjoy country walks. *Sleeps 5 comfortably or 6 cozily. For more information about our home or the local area please do touch base, I will always do my best to help. Guest access The house has its own drive and can easily fit 2 vehicles. On-street parking outside the house is free. Guests will be provided with all of the information they need regarding further access early the day they are due to check in (or in some cases this can be sent to them in advance, please just contact me to ask any questions you may have about this). Other things to note BEDDING & TOWELS / LINENS Please ensure you have indicated the correct number of guests visiting and communicate with the host how you would like the house set up. The house will automatically be made up for 2 guests sharing the master bedroom. Bed linen and towels will be provided. If you are a larger group or prefer a different set up please communicate with the host. Sofa-beds will only be made up of bedding provided if requested in advance. WOOD / WOOD BURNER From October to February we provide a starter kit of kiln dried logs with kindling / sticks and eco friendly fire starters. If you intend to use the fire additional bags of wood and kindling can be purchased - approximately £10 per day. Please contact your host for further information.
