Welcome to the Rustic Moon. A charming Glamping site nestled in a picturesque small town renowned for its breath taking sunsets, sunrises and moon lit nights. Hear you'll experience the perfect blend of nature and comfort with luxurious accommodations that allow you too reconnect with the great outdoors without sacrificing the coziness of home. Our clamping tent is thoughtfully designed to provide a serene escape. Featuring plush bedding cozy seating areas and stunning views. The space The property is the site of an old farm house originally built in the 1920's. The property is located on a hill and overlooks a large wooded area. A Kodiak Canvas Lodge tent sleep up to 6 people comfortably. The main tent area is 12' x 16' with an add on portion area of 8' x 8'. Included in the tent is a heating and air conditioning, a queen sized bed, a full sized bed, and cots are available if needed. Portions of the old farm house have been restored. A full bathroom is provided with shower, toilet, sink and hot water. The old kitchen area has a mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, electric skillet, toaster, table and chairs. 18' x 10' old living room has been converted to a common space with heating A/C, a table, and TV (Service not provided). Included is a screened in back porch with a bar, bar stools, drop covers to block wind/rain from entering the area without obstructing the view. The outdoor space is over 1 acre including a fire pit with fire wood provided to have your first fire on us!. Outdoor games are provided, Cornhole and Spikeball. A picnic table, swing, outdoor folding chairs, hot dog roasting sticks, and charcoal grill are provided. For deer hunters an electric hoist and gambrel are setup in the garage to hoist your Southern Illinois Whitetail Buck!. A large driveway allows for campers to be parked on the property with use of 30 Amp electric hookup, water, and sewer drain. The property is located 5 miles from Rend Lake and 2.5 miles from interstate 57. Guest access Tent, tent add on, portions of the old farm house including a bathroom, kitchen area, family room, garage, fire pit, yard, back screened in porch, and front porch.
