You'll have exclusive use of the sun deck overlooking field and forest, where you can unwind and see some of Tassie's native birds We are on the Huon Highway, just minutes from the centre of Geeveston, a charming rural community where you'll find everything you need. Try local pickles, produce and wine at Harvest and Light wine bar, or authentic Japanese sushi at Masaaki's (open Sat and Sun). The information centre showcases local craft and Geeveston's rich heritage as well as guiding you to a wide variety of activities and places to visit locally. Stroll along the Platypus Walk in the park and you might see wild platypus in the Kermandie River at dusk. We are just 15 minutes from the Wooden Boat Centre on the Huon River at Franklin, 20 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches, and less than an hour from Hartz Mountain National Park or The Grove of Giants where you can see some of Tasmania's largest Eucalypts. Cockle Creek is just over an hour. Guest access Off road car parking in our shady gravel drive. Private access up an outside wooden staircase to your deck and bedroom. Arrive when you like after check-in at 3pm. The key will be in the lock box beside the door. We'll send you the code.
